It just astonishes me that they are willing to trade up for a Marcus Davenport but not an actual QB.
If not this year than they'll do it in a weak QB class and frick us even more.

Still got 3 games and potentially the playoffs. The draft is not until the end of April. We don't know the position of the draft. It is pointless to speculate on the draft at this point and even after the combine mock drafts are pointless.

Given the Saints history, they are not going to go all in on a QB. They've always either tried to find the diamond in the rough or traded for/signed veterans. Daniels is likely going to go to a QB needy team early, but hopefully it's someone that can afford to sit him for 1-2 seasons and not throw him to the wolves. He's the type of QB that gets ultra conservative when he doesn't feel confident, and ends up running or eating a sack. In the NFL that could lead to a really short career. If the Saints would draft him it would be a disaster.

It’s certainly trending that way. When you look at other top QB prospects like Maye and Williams he is the most exciting and honestly the best momentum. Saints won’t get a crack at him because they will be stubborn and win the division.

Pro scouts had him top 10 at the beginning of the season. Media is just now catching up. He will not be there for New Orleans. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't go to Chicago at one of their two early picks.

He just won the Heisman and had an unreal year while improving drastically throwing the ball. He will definitely be gone before the dumb Saints pick. They should have been tanking as soon as it was apparent they don’t have the team to advance in the playoffs.

Doesn’t mean much pre combine.
Caleb Williams really has nothing to gain at the combine. But there is a risk there if he doesn’t measure well
Daniels has nothing to lose at the combine, but can gain a bunch of momentum if he times well and the weight is above 210
Maye is going to be a combine darling and a threat to 1.1
Teams are going to burn the tape and realize most of Williams’ production came off script. For a team like the Bears, they’d have weigh that Williams may not be far from what they already have.
Take the field +330. Daniels is +3500 on FanDuel as well. $10, why not

He was also a huge Vegas favorite to win the heisman.
He may go first don’t get me wrong. But the current Vegas odds are moot.
The combine will only help Jayden separate from the pack.
I personally will be surprised if he isn’t the first QB taken.
