We really had a drop in production in all the games bush was out.........check out the stats.
THAT IS THE PROBLEM!! He is always out.... I was hoping he stayed too at a manageable # but I'm really not that upset that he may be gone.
I have a feeling he will have a rough go of it in MIA bc of their QB situation (or lack there of...)

Someone has done that research before, pretty sure it came out that the offense was pretty much the same if not a little better. Of course I think it was argued it was a little bit better because the games Reggie sat out, were against pretty terrible teams like Oakland. But still, its probably negligible.

If he could have stayed healthy and done that a handful of times a year, he'd be one of highest paid players in the league for a long time.
that would be foolish for whatever team was stupid enough to pay him that
i am happy that the saints are no longer wasting the hightest cap space of any RB in the NFL on a 3rd down back with fumbling and injury issues

Not even remotely the same thing.
no, but it illustrates that you cant cherry pick stats to prop up a player.

The saints should get Miami to pay part of the guaranteed money we owe him in the deal
Can't do that. Only NFL trade I've seen money exchanged in was the Gruden to TB, which isn't allowed anymore.

right, he's gonna score like Delhomme getting double pay in Cleveland
