A few-

Protect the football, particularly Drew/OL protecting him.

Secondary can’t come out flat.

Kamara involved early in the passing game.

Keep Drew clean

Solid in the middle on defense. This is where losing Rankins will hurt.

Sustained drives on offense. I'd rather 11 play, 7 min TD drives than 4 play, 2 min TD drives.

Cut down on offense penalties.

I have to agree that the OL is the X factor.

Every aspect of the offense relies on the OL playing well.
And frankly, the defense is much more reliable these days.

Stop the Rams running game again. More consistent offensive production. Going to need Ingram, Kamara, Ginn show up.

Rams rely on run game to set up their pass offense.

If we can hold Gurley/CJ to under 100 yds and make Goff win the game...I think we’ll win easily.

I think we need to get an early lead and put the pressure on young Goff.

Dude won't be able to keep up with Breesus for 4 quarters.

1) Fast start is most critical. If Drew doesn’t underthrow Ginn, or it falls incomplete, who knows how we may have started. Regardless we have to come out and get points on the board early. Can’t get caught in a game of catch-up.

2) Stop the run. Nuff said.

3) Eliminate bone-headed drive-killing penalties. I’m talking to you Andrus. Also wouldn’t hurt to cut out the bs on punt returns.

4) Get in Goff’s face. We have to find ways to get in Goff’s face this game and put him on his arse. He holds the ball for so long that we should be able to get to him again even without Big Rank.

5) Control TOP. Keep away, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. A profilings offense can’t score if they don’t have the ball. We were able to run all over the Rams last go around. Can only hope Payton runs smarter this game (not continuously pounding up the middle when off-tackle runs were far more productive yesterday).

1. OL needs to execute better, and I think they will.

2. Where are the screens and Ben Watson passes? Have defenses adjusted?

3. Long, sustained drives to keep LA's offense off the field.

4. It would be nice if Smith showed up at WR.

5. Defense needs to win first down. The Philly game turned when we began getting stops on first down. In the first qtr, they were gashing us.

6. Vonn Bell and Marcus Williams need to make plays.

7. No turnovers!

Crowd noise as it severely impacts the way they like to run their Offense

Pressure Goff early and often (Jordan/Davenport have to play a better game)

Kamara continuing with his success against them (304 tot yds and 5 TD's in 2 games)

I imagine they’re gonna do everything they can to stop Thomas by double teaming and what not. Gonna need the run game and OL to step up.

I have 5 keys:

- Pretty much don’t start the game like we did against the Eagles

- OL has to play better and keep Drew clean as much as possible

- establish the run and don’t give up on it

- don’t get frustrated when their offense makes plays but hope to minimize Gurley/Anderson to at least under 100 combined yards

- Thomas and Ginn will both have to play well. Not one or the other. Both are going to have to win their matchups vs Talib/Peters

I guess a 6th one is also expose how awful their LB’s are both in coverage and in run stopping. Kamara in Littleton was a huge mismatch early on in the first game but then they started bracketing him with Littleton and Joyner. That means Thomas and Ginn and someone else in the pass game needs to step up. Kamara needs to find a way to make more plays as well.
