Like they said on Football Night in America, Saints need to blow it all up. New quarterback, new coach, and renegotiated contract for all higher paid players not contributing.

Well, it’s not quite as easy as what the all knowing Rodney says

We definitely need to blow it up though

Also a new GM, and since it appears that we’re writing letters to Santa clause a new owner, that actually gives a shite would be great.

Bensuck and Loony's brains don't work either. I'm dead serious when I say I think they have mental illness.

Next year the Saints will be $77,000,000 OVER the salary cap - 32nd in the league dead last. Loomis renegotiating contracts got ‘em in this serious financial situation.

We should have blown it up 3 years ago…we could be a few years into this by now but we kicked the can to not even make the playoffs in a total shite division. They argued against tanking but here we are at total rock bottom

The dumb dumbs that supported Mickey and his cronies during all of this have a hand in it LOOOOOOMISING…the cap doesn’t matter “

It all comes back to Loomis and his mistakes.

Having Dennis Allen doesn't help.

You need a strong coach to go up against a gm like loomis. Payton was that strong voice. Allen is not.

I'm not saying I support loomis just don't think Gayle will fire him.

We missed the playoffs last year by one point in the Green Bay game. Made sense to keep trying to win.

Salary cap always catches up to you in the long run. You can implode a competitive roster or wait until the decision is made for you.

If they'd rebuilt coming off a 9-8 season we'd be complaining and we would have a point.

With our cap issues, the only way to blow it up is to run a JV team out there for two seasons.

Also a new GM

Told a friend, knowing Loomis, we could have the #2 pick, and he would trade the next 2 ones, to move up

You barely missed in a weak division and had an easy schedule with numerous breaks. You weren’t on the cusp of winning shite, you were limping along.

This roster has been thin and flawed for years, specifically designed with the sole goal of winning enough to make the playoffs in a bad division and has continually failed to to get over that very low bar. Crediting them with barely missing is why we’re so fricked now

If they made it to the playoffs they were winning 1 game at most but probably would've been 1 and done. They were coming no where near a SB win

And that's problem. This team for the last few years has been stuck in the middle. Not the best to actually compete for a SB but not the worst to get a high draft pick. Now they've finally hit rock bottom and are further in deep shite with the cap situation

We don’t need to “blow up” anything.

We need to revamp the scouting department and not swing for the fences by trading up for prospects. We need more “can’t miss” “safe” picks like Fuaga. Less projects like Penning and Turner.

We need to draft a DT, OG, DE, S, CB, WR and TE over the next two years. Let older guys (Carr, Lattimore, Kamara, Mathieu, Davis, Taysom) play out their contracts why we build up talent.

Bring in a coach that will take control over the team. Somebody that can set the tone and will get into all the details.

Once we get a better team, then we can start looking for our QB. Remember, Mahomes was drafted 11th. Lamar was 31st. Josh Allen was #7. Brees signed as a FA. Stafford was traded for. “Tanking” for a top 5 pick doesn’t get you a good team and usually means your QB will fail. Baker, Darnold, Trubisky, Winston, Fields, etc.

So we don’t need to blow it up..just replace the GM, scouting dept., coach and most of the roster. Got it

his commentary over the last couple of years leads me to believe that he is very complacent in his job. No one holds him accountable.

He hired DA because Payton gave him a gold star on his report card before he left.

You can’t seriously be making excuses for this garbage, can you? The head coach and starting QB never did anything worth mentioning when they were the top dogs. The GM for the Saints brought in leftovers from the league, all the while walking around like he did something. The head coach was an easy hire for people that don’t care, simply because of his history with the Saints. Signing Carr was thinking you were going to strike gold again like you did with Drew. Sean got the hell out of New Orleans because the writing was on the wall for everyone to see.

He hired and continues to defend DA because DA is weak and doesn't stand up to his brain dead maneuvers that have tanked this team. Next coach will be his gimp behind closed doors too.
