The IQ, both on and off the field, and a complete embrace of New Orleans. He seems like a good dude. Just saw his interview with NFL network, and he said he’s coming to work 10x harder to get better.

Can’t wait for the many fruitful years to come

Enjoy him while he’s cheap, pretty soon we may not be able to afford him.

Imho he's shown talent in his rookie year I dont think anyone saw at Tennessee...I knew he was talented...but in this system he crushes it.

He's fantastic, but I am worried about his concussions.

No shite. Pointless thread. You probably jinxed him now. Pat yourself on the back when he ruptures his achilles tendon now.

He's got the IT factor, however you define that
I watched him at Tennessee and knew he was a great value in the 3rd rd
Just hope he keeps his head straight and progresses and matures accordingly. We have no idea what outside influences these kids deal with. Especially the inner city kids. Hope he has a good mentor. Rooting for him, gold teeth and all!

Scared to jump on this too quick because RBs more than any other position hit sophomore slump be it injuries or teams game planning.

Gurley
Zeke elliot

most recent examples

David Johnson but that was an injury and his third season (second as starter though)
Reggie Bush
Alfred Morris
Jeremy hill
Trent Richardson

Last two turned out just sucked and we're a flash in the pan rookies

The greats overcome it

All Day
Tomlinson
Levon bell

improved their second year. I hope Kamara is in the second group. But we'll see now that defenses can key on him first 4 games

Love the guy and want him to succeed

I think it’ll work out by his next contract we would likely be on a rookie QB contract and just give him a big contract and look to replace Ingram through draft. He will be a priority along with Lattimore. This is what moves like the Cooks trade and not resigning Vaccaro were for.

I didn't realize he had a thick build to him until I went to one of the training camp practices last summer. I mean I'd seen him play before but he looked bigger in person to me.

Think about what we built with Lattimore, Ramzcuxhxjrjxhsk, kamara, hendricks. Hell of a job by our guys

that suspension BS created massive inconsistencies though.

good thing this season is kamara's first as the "starter"

quote:

Alfred Morris
Jeremy hill
Trent Richardson

that's insulting to compare kamara to those 3. I loved Morris but he and hill are so one dimensional. Richardson had no vision.

All Day
Tomlinson
Levon bell

still early to even compare him to them.

While I don't think Kamara is going to stay insanely efficient per touch, I don't think its unreasonable to think he's gonna put up some very good numbers still.

Last year our 2 guys went:
Ingram: 230 carries, 1124 yards, 4.9 YPC, 12 TDs // 58 receptions, 416 yards
Kamara: 120 carries, 728 yards, 6.1 YPC, 8 TDs // 81 receptions, 826 yards, 5 TDs

With the addition of Ben Watson, Cameron Meredith, and Tre'Quan Smith there has to be some give and take on the receiving end of things. Ingram being out 4 games as well gives him more carries early on, but likely leveling out later.

I think it'll go something like this:
Ingram: 180 carries, 864 yards, 4.8 YPC, 8 TDs // 38 receptions, 300 yards, 2 TDs
Kamara: 150 carries, 840 yards, 5.6 YPC, 7 TDs // 70 receptions, 700 yards, 4 TDs

My only gripe with Kamara is, "I wish he would slow down on the Airhead consumption."

Dude is going to get a serious toothache. Trust me, I know.
