Yeah. Think about how many guys have coached NFL teams and how many of those same guys you, me, and nobody else can name. Not too many cats have the success record wise coupled with a SB like CSP.

no...and not particularly close either.

If he wins another championship, that would change things.

he is about 2-3 last minute defensive stops and 1 botched ref screw job away from being listed among the greatest coaches of all time

between his career wins, offensive records, SB win, etc

I think he will get in but he still needs some padding if he wants to be considered a 1st ballot caliber guy

You’re wrong about “not particularly close”

Only 7 super bowl winning coaches have not made the HOF(excluding current or recently retired guys).

Winning a SB instantly makes it close

Yes. His system makes any average wide receiver look like a star.

You may not think he deserves in, but he’s most likely getting in.

He's the entire reason the Saints have a Superbowl under their belt and have been a winning organization since 06

Hell yes he is a HOF coach

Mike McCarthy has a similar career resume.

Is Mike McCarthy a Hall of Famer?

That’s your answer.

Mike McCarthy was also shite on by his piece of shite QB and scapegoated

McCarthy has a HOF resume, or was trending that way.

I’m not saying yes or no to McCarthy. I’m just saying their resumes are similar.

I know. But the perception of McCarthy is that he’s a trash coach now.

Yes, apparently he consistently wins despite not having a MVP QB.

I think he’s a Super Bowl win away or 3-4 more division championships. Offensively few if any have ever done it better. That and his longevity might be enough to get him there.

Part of being a great coach is managing your superstars. This is where Sean clearly out measures McCarthy

Marv Levy is in the Hall of Fame without a Super Bowl win.

He did go to four straight Super Bowls however.
