It's true. When he played he looked stout against the run. Never has had the chance to work on his rushing techniques due to stupid injuries. Cam in his first couple of years showed he could play the run but was slower to develop his rush. It's silly to just blurt out "he sucks". If he did he would not have stuck around and ate up space and the Saints time and effort.

Davenport was fairly efficient when he was on the field too. He probably could’ve been a decent player if he was healthy but of course his body is made of cardboard

Someone will get Davenport on a vet minimum next offseason, he'll have 10+ sacks and someone will sign him to multi year deal. Then the cycle starts all over again.

I never heard that but I believe it. The guy could've been great if he loved football and everything that goes into it.
