The saints win going away, yeah I know Brees 3 ints etc. But at that point in the game we were driving for killshot and he fumbles, absolutely pathetic

It’s been a long time since I was as mad as I was at Cook tonight. Not because it happened, but because of how often he’s done shite like that while he’s been a Saint. He’s an absolute liability that should be cut.

It would have been respectable to lose next week in Green Bay. That’s the best we were realistically going to get.

Oh he undoubtedly sent Drew into retirement. His locker should be cleaned out tomorrow morning. I don’t feel bad for him. He’s been underwhelming all year. He needs to hang it up. You wasted our last shot for a whileeeeeee at the big one. I’m not one for blaming a a single player but this falls on him on 3 separate plays. I don’t understand why you trade up to draft Trautman and play Jared cooks bum arse over him. I saw enough from Trautman on multiple occasions to justify him being on the field. I’m so numb right now

The playoffs are always about situational football bc the margins are so tight. The Bucs made plays when it mattered and the Saints didn’t.

You people are insane putting it all on Cook. Brees was horrible. Those first 2 pics were absolutely terrible and dumb throws that led directly to 14 points.

I knew that was it when he fumbled. You don’t come back from that

Saints come out and score on an impressive drive
Bucs punt
Saints driving to go up 2 scroes (cook fumbles)
Bucs socre a TD
deflated Saints go 3 and out
rest is history

Play of the game no doubt. After the catch he was carrying the ball loosely like a loaf of bread. My great grandmother could have knocked that ball loose. Trautman needs to be the answer cause Cook is a below average player. That was a 14 point swing.

The second pic went through cook's hands. It wasn't tipped

Brees didn't play great either

Gave them the ball at midfield with all the momentum. And then to top it off the game sealing pick was off of his hands. There’s really people on this board acting like he wasn’t the sole reason we’re not playing next week. Utterly disgusting lol

I knew it was over when Cook fumbled. The momentum shift at that moment was more or equal to when Grunge took out Hair Metal literally overnight in 1991.

Cook is a liability. We all saws that fumble coming from a mile away.

Ohh well at least we got a super bowl out of it.

You are absolutely right. Drew stunk it up but if Cook doesn't fumble at that time in the game we most likely get at least 3 points(maybe 7) out of that drive & we are up by 10 or 14 going into the 4th quarter. It is a different game & Drew MIGHT not be put in the position to make those throws & we are back to running it more.

Yea the fumble was the play of the game. The first pick was a killer too, but the fumble when we had all the momentum and things were trending our way was a back breaker. That said, the defense could’ve made a play of their own at some point and forced a turnover. They scored with little resistance after our first three turnovers. Cook fumble was the biggest play, but that was a total team loss.
