Win the same amount you can win with baker.

Neither are the longterm answer. That's my point.

Mid Round Pick this year, 3rd next year that can become a 2nd based on playing and so on.

Winston will be a cheaper salary I'd think and not giving up picks.

I'd go Winston first, but would settle on Baker if we can't keep Jameis.

I would call Cleveland and see if you could do it for a reasonable trade.

I think he was hurt last year and better than people think.

agreed, but with a fully guaranteed contract to pay for, the browns will have to cut every player not getting league minimum pay so its got to be a mad clearance sale on their whole roster right now

Way cheaper. Baker wants a new fat deal.

Jameis just wants to start.

The saints are in a shitty spot. Oh and we wasted a 4th rounder on ian book, just cause.

I don't mind giving him a shot I just don't want to pay much or give away much of anything.

Maybe offer to dry clean his bathrobe

Yep, I want Jameis.

I doubt Beckham to the Saints has enough traction for it to be a thing, but also just pointing out if there was a chance Beckham may come here, obviously that ain't happening as well if we get Baker.

At the same point in his career Drew had very similar numbers

I'm with you on this. I'd take Baker.

I think people knock him too much. He played in like 3-4 different offenses, and his numbers are incredibly similar to Brees' in San Diego.

Y'all are using a fletcher mackel talking point.

That was a different era of football almost.

Baker is nothing like drew brees.
What made brees so great was his passion and accuracy.

There were whispers of baker not working hard at the playbook. Like i said nothing like drew brees.

Please stay off those drugs if you think baker mayfield is better or have more potential than Winston.

Mayfield had two pro bowl wide receivers and two legit tight ends with the number 1 rushing offense in the NFL and still couldn’t be elite.

Put that crack pipe down

Houston is rolling with Davis Mills who got better as the season went on.

Been reading your comments for days , you really seem to think Winston is a lot better then he truly is. Guy is immature as freak. Had major surgery, couldn’t learn the whole play book in one whole season he sat behind Drew . Not even sure he still knows playbook. If we resign him I hope you are right and I am wrong.

I like Baker a lot more than I like Jimmy G or Marcus Mariota. A LOT more. VS Jameis I'm not sure.

I'd be ok with giving Baker a try. This trade and contract today has proven how dysfunctional the Browns are. Especially with guys like OBJ and Jarvis wanting out and now Baker too.

I'd take Baker too. He's all upside. Put him in this system and see how he does.
