LSU will face Southern Miss ace Tanner Hall (Zachary high) who should’ve been at LSU Smh.

We need guys that can get down the field and create some separation. Most of the dynamic offenses can go over the top. We simply haven’t been able to do that for years and it kills you eventually

This is where the saints been missing a pass catching tight end like Jared Cooks was. They need a good young Tightend who can catch the 10 plus yard routes
Please stay off those drugs if you think baker mayfield is better or have more potential than Winston.

Mayfield had two pro bowl wide receivers and two legit tight ends with the number 1 rushing offense in the NFL and still couldn’t be elite.

Put that crack pipe down

The only way I see Watson repenting for his sins is to become a Saint.

Swap Marcus Williams for the Honey Badger? I wouldn't be super upset about that...

That would not be a even swap based on how the saints play. Badger is used basically how the saints used Malcom Jenkins the Super Bowl season. At safety sometimes but mostly on the line as a line backer or as a slot corner. You need a side line to sideline cover safety. Williams never plays on the line.

I find it weird that an HBCU would hire a white dude more than anything else

Rob Ryan started with Tennessee state an HBCU

Former LSU defensive coordinator john Chavis started is coaching career at one of the Alabama swac hbcus (state or AM)

Jay hopson Alcorn state

Many more ….

This is not anything uncommon nor weird my friend just ignorance on your part.

You can’t take this site seriously with the dumb shite that is said on here. Dude couldn’t even beat bridgewater. Gtfoh with this stupidness
Nfl been trying to give LA a super bowl for 4 years now….finally. MVP should go to Goodell
I’m just trying to figure out why Bienemy gives y’all such a hard on. It’s like you want him to fail to prove some type of point.

The fact of the matter is everyone claims he’s not worthy of a nfl HC job because he apparently didn’t call the plays in KC.

Well Miami hired the OC from the Rams who didn’t call the plays….

Minnesota hired the OC for the 49ers who dont call the plays either….

I have yet to see a topic created about those two guys when they were being considered for HC jobs or any excuses on why they shouldn’t be considered.

Boy y’all sure know how to turn on people real quick on here. He was a part of the success the saints had at developing the stars at wr over Payton’s tenure. If he wasn’t he wouldn’t have been brought back after he left for Tulane.

Also he help develop some of the best nfl wrs to come out of the state of florida. Santana miss, Andre Johnson, and also Louisiana native Reggie Wayne.

Those guys from Miami are on record of talking about how Johnson impacted their careers from both recruiting and developing them.

I think his track record when you combine all of those names should not be questioned. Find something else to talk about…

Who ever has it probably still in negotiations with TMZ….

Better release it now so he can take his licks all at once. If not he will be crucified twice.

This should be investigated for deliberate tanking. Don’t think he’s had a winning record in pros or college in a decade

Amazing, bashing a coach that has lead a team to a super bowl while applauding the hire of a coach with a worse winning percentage.

He just might ball out in our system. Smart QB with decent mobility. I have no idea of contract that we would take on but if dollars work we might want to take a look. Not the long term answer but could help groom a younger QB for a couple years.

The topics and opinions on this site reaches a new low everyday. So you telling me with a straight face that Tannehill is better than Winston? ?? I’m not even considering the contract situation.

Tannehill can’t even win with a 150 yard per game running back. How the heck you think he can win with a offense that has to be creative to squeeze 75 yards a game as a team?

Play action should be pitch and catch with a running back that dominant.

I think you’re making my point… Brady makes OCs

Don’t try to spin it my friend. Just take your loss and move on with your subjective commenting on something you know nothing about.
quote:

Listen he’s not a good head coach. Leftwich has to prove he wasn’t carried by Brady. It’s not some grand racist conspiracy.

Former offensive assistants while brady was qb that became head coaches that wasn’t questioned…..

Joe judge Giants fired
Matt Patricia Lions fired
Bill O’Brian Texans fired

Oh yea….Josh Mcdaniel Broncos fired, under brady a second time and becomes Raiders head coach

Hmmmm…..but leftwich has to prove it right?

Go sit down somewhere

My first choice is Allen. But to tell you the truth im not sure if he has the personality to be a HC.

I second this comment. I know many will believe Glenn was brought in to check the box, but to also choose to interview someone who was a assistant on the same staff and side of the ball as the favorite to land the HC job raises flags.
Some of these comments justify having these types of rules/provisions.

Explain the racist things that took place here

Read the article and you will find the answers to your question. Nothing needs to be explained on my part.
quote:

I don't want a coach who complains about racism

So what I’m gathering is that someone can do racist things to you but you can’t make a complaint about it?

The saints haven’t hired a coach yet and they interviewed multiple minorities. Play by the rules and there are no grounds for any law suit.
So let me understand everybody’s logic. For a coach to be given serious consideration, he has to be a great coach with shitty players? The same excuse you given for leftwich could be applied to bellichick. We all know if bellichick was interested in coaching the saints everybody would be all for it.

So with your logic, I think we should also give Matt Nagy a call, he had a overall winning record with 4 shitty qbs.

2010 - 11-5 and lost to Seattle (Beastquake) 2011 - 13-3 and lost to San Fran (Vernon Davis) 2012 - 7-9 (no playoffs) 2013 - 11-5 and lost to Seattle (were never really in it) 2014 - 7-9 (no playoffs) 2015 - 7-9 (no playoffs) 2016 - 7-9 (no playoffs) 2017 - 11-5 and lost to Minny (Miracle) 2018 - 13-3 and lost to Rams (no call) 2019 - 13-3 and lost to Minny (upset) 2020 - 12-4 and lost to Tampa Bay (offense gave it away) 2021 - 9-8 (no playoffs)

Saints playoffs after Super Bowl can be summarized by a either a combination of bad defenses overall, inability to to stop opponent with game on the line, drew Brees critical turnovers, and horrid offensive line play.

That 2011-12 team that loss to San Fran was probably the best all around saints team and we can make a safe assumption that the saints were a super bowl team.

When Pierre Thomas got knocked out at the beginning was a sign of a long day, but that team fought to the end. They were out played and probably still should’ve won
