It says here the Saints. Coach didn’t have the balls to pull the trigger on that.

This has been known for a while. Drew kept us on the rope for too long when deciding if he was gonna play another year

So we got an injured brees milking it through the season.

Saints would have had another superbowl with brady.

Breaking news
If you are going to come in here and bash the coach who turned this franchise around at least come with some information that came out this decade

And he would've been retired by the 2020 offseason had we won in 2018. The No-Call not only cost us a 2nd ring, but Tom Brady.

What a magical ride Drew brought us on during his last season, complete with his typical shite playoff performance.

That's a lot of belief in one player. It takes a team to bring home the Lombardi.

It stings to me. Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought we could have landed him. I know this is old news but the guy is right about the no call interference.

We possibly could have had 3 Super Bowls and 3 championships in the last 12 years with it being two out of the last 3. So that’s why it stings, not to mention you have two of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play win you a championship.

Drew did not want to be replace by Brady. Brady would have taken all his glory. That's why he stayed another year. Drew is all about his brand.

It was already known that Drew fricked us on the way out. As good as he was, and we should all be thankful for the years he gave us and the SB....... he flat out fricked us playing with that injured noodle arm when we could be on our way to back to back SBs. Brees is such a beta compared to Brady.

I mean, we were one Jared Cook fumble away from being up 13-17 points late in the game against Tampa and going 3-0 on them this season and changing the entire Tom to Tampa Bay narrative. Obviously what Drew did after that fumble wasn’t great. A couple plays looked like miscommunication and at the end, desperation was a factor as well. Whole thing just snowballed. Happens sometimes. That’s why upsets happen a lot in the nfl playoffs. It’s sudden death and sometimes things just don’t go your way.

I don’t blame Drew. Blame the defense in 2010, 2011, 2017. Blame the refs in 2018. Blame the entire team minus Taysom Hill in 2019. Blame J Cook for 2020. Blame Payton for wasting several years being addicted to pills. Blame Loomis for several years of horrible free agent decisions. Blame the scouting department for several years of asinine drafts. Drew was the one consistent thing about our franchise. It’s just a damn shame that our overall franchise wasted so many years of prime Drew and really didn’t get their overall act together until 2017. By then Drew was not quite himself and we additionally were dealt with a lot of unlucky blows that resulted in us not ultimately getting the job done when we finally had the front office, coaching, and roster to do it.

Drew stayed because he loved playing football, loved his teammates, and he wanted 1 more ring. We were damn close the last 4 seasons. But again, it’s a damn shame it took so long for the rest of our organization to match Drew’s contributions. We wasted a shite load of his prime and we finally gave him a decent team when his body started to decline.

Even if this is true can you really blame him? Honestly I rather fail riding with Brees. A guy that brought us a Super Bowl and transitioned us into some really good years of football. A few year rental with Brady feels cheap to me. Wouldn’t even want it
