Also you had to email players to learn he’s ineffective and terrible? Can she see the games from her suite ?

Maybe too much benefit of the doubt here (and some optimism of further change), but could it be that she did this to see how the message from the players she respects may be different from the message from the front office. If this is the case, I suspect Mickey is here to finish the season because of his other roles within the organization and the league needs him to be here through the SB.

The Mickey stuff should be easy. Give him an (even more) big wig title. Move him to an (even more) luxurious office. Give him a pay raise for all I care. But make sure he has nothing to do (or little to do) with actual on field decision making going forward.

Kind of unneeded when a career loser coach continues to lose.

The on field play has consistently shown a team that doesn’t respect him.

I’m sure they had Nick out that out to show Gayle has her finger on the pulse of the team and isn’t a figurehead owner but just had the opposite affect for me

She couldn’t identify the issues without asking the players

Instead of killing her for this, I will praise her to a certain degree.

She knows her limitations, knew things were wrong and went right to the sources.

And she did what needed to be done.

She's not a football person and trusted the people that her husband trusted and brought the city a title. This time she went around those people and straight to the players, and made a hard decision.

Great move by Gayle.

Mickey is not getting fired. He’ll move to an administration role.

Mickey will probably be moved somewhere else if we don't win any more. Now the question are we buyers or sellers before the deadline.

He could move to president of FBO and is still going to hand pick his successor who is already in the building. He’d have to swallow a lot of pride to remove himself entirely and he won’t.

Look at Gayle. Being an actual boss instead of just an interior designer. Good for her.

Come on bunch

Why do we give people credit about the mess they have made

What the frick are the players supposed to say about a 2-6 team? Of course the guy is gonna stink. This shouldn’t be how decisions are made

I gave her the most backhanded compliment of all time with that come on man

I credit her for doing the right thing finally.

That doesn't make her a great owner or anything. She isn't a good one.

I don't hate Gayle. She's out of her depth. She isn't a good owner and probably shouldn't be one.

She relied on people her husband did.

I credit her for going over their head.

We will see what she does from here on out.

I would like an owner to have a pulse of the locker room at all times. If you’re just now going to take inventory with them, let’s no publicize it with the firing.

And what do you think guys Tyrann, Cam, and Derek Carr? Oh hey we are aging and grossly overpaid. And new coach will really change their prospects

Fair points. We have what we have though. She isn't a good owner but at least she is doing something right now, I guess.

Why does it have to be printed that the owner was involved in the firing? Like ya, no shite. I would hope so. Goddamn charity case
