I would be very careful what I would do with the team; these guys seem very tight. I wouldn't randomly trade out one of our vets for an outsider.

I met Eric Reid at a men’s function at Church. He wasn’t paid to be there, just a good kid. I couldn’t believe how mild mannered and respectful he was to all these guys he’d never met before. Eye contact, “yes sir” “thank you”. No one from Football was there watching, it who he is.

First of all Vaccoro is listed as a CB for some reason. They also stopped updating his score after the first couple of games.
Reid also played LB for much of last season. That along with him having so many concussions that he’s considered retirement I’ll pass.

Because he played in the nickel spot more than anywhere else this year, and after the first two games he was rarely used as a deep safety.
That's why it's silly everyone keeps suggesting safeties to replace Vaccaro, because he wasn't used as such (nor should he be). He's strictly a nickel/box safety (aka OLB).

I think this team is maybe two more starters, # 2 wide receiver certainly and maybe a tight end or maybe an outside rusher from being a strong Super Bowl contender. Assuming injuries are not horrible.
Chemistry seems to be where Payton wants. Bringing in a SJW with a "look at me" attitude is a distraction we do not need. We can spend 6 to 8 million per year better.
