If Brees stays another year they will make the playoffs again. If he retires we will see 8-8 for a few years. I don’t see a Super Bowl win in the next 5 years.

Drew is a Saints legend no doubt about that. What he has done for the city and the organization can never be measured by words that would do him justice. The other side of this is that come January each season he does not have it. The defense know this. They don’t need to cover deep. Today was a bad game but it is a continuation of what he has done in past playoffs games. I want to see him get another ring but it won’t happen as him as a starter. It is time for the Saints to get a new QB to lead. The offensive line was not good either.

If Brees wants to stay, I am for letting him stay. But, it would probably be better for the team if he retired now.

We aren’t getting anyone better than drew anytime soon. He’s still better than a lot of nfl qbs. Yes he had a very bad game today but he’s still our best chance to win one over the next year or two as of right now.

I agree with this but I'm seeing Saints fans on this board and on Facebook seriously trash Brees including his character. It's kind of disgusting to be honest, I've never been one to call him "Breesus" or suck his dick 24/7 but to attack his character because he's probably lost it at 40 makes these fans look fricking childish
