Going to go way off on a limb here. Young and Stroud go 1 & 2 (not necessarily to Texans) so Colts go BPA at 4 and end up trading up to 29 to grab a QB that is falling down the board.

Based on our last 5 drafts, I predict the Saints will squander draft capital, pick someone in the 1st round who is listed on most draft boards as a 3rd rounder, and take flyers on players in later rounds who are UDFAs on other boards. In other words, my bold prediction is that we will all be hugely disappointed.

Terrible take
Last 5 years first rounders:
2018: Davenport - picked 14th, mocked mid 1st (Walter Football had him at 15)
2019: None
2020: Ruiz - picked 24th, mocked late 1st, early 2nd (Walter Football had him at 31)
2021: Turner - picked 28th, mocked in 2nd (Walter had him at 60, ironically to Saints)
2022: Olave - picked 11th, mocked mid 1st, (Walter had him at 16th to Saints)
2022: Penning - picked 19th, mocked mid 1st (Walter had him at 17th)
I used Walter Football because it's the only one that I can easily find pre-draft mocks going back 5 years. But based on the mocks, the only true reach would have been Turner.
