When you look at it Ingram cost the Saints two draft picks whereas Foster and Tate cost the Texans a total of one. I think it was a waste

You can do this for all pics and all teams..
Its what kids do.

Everyone knows what 'should' have been done on Monday.

P.S.

Seems to be the new Reggie thread now

I was of this opinion before they drafted him. There are very few players who are worth multiple picks in the draft. Ingram was not one of them, at least for what the Saints do with RB's.

No; however, that does not stop me from commenting on their decisions.

I respect your opinion, as well as HTown, but I disagree.

I think the pick of Ingram will be very important in this team's future. I think he will look like an excellent acquisition after its all said and done.

It could. It would be different if the Saints played like the Falcons and ran the ball a ton.

Are you smarter than the Saints FO? Do you have any NFL personnel experience?

this is not relevant, we can observe and see what other teams do. Overall the Saints FO has done well, but they are not immune from criticism. Its their track record of success in finding RB as free agents that makes me question the move even more.

It is what we SHOULD do, the Saints this season have been great when they run the ball successfully and force the opposing safeties to commit to the run. We have 4 very capable running backs, we could literally run 40 times in a game without wearing out anyone. This makes Drew a better quarterback and us a better team.

Should do and actually do are different things. Saints like to play Colts football.

Geez people it doesn't matter if anyone knew it was a bad decision before hand or not. Nobody is saying fire all the coaches. Just questioning the decision that is all. And as of right now it doesn't look to be a very good one.

Every team is great when they are successful running the ball.

We traded for Ingram because he is the future. Ivory is clearly not dependable. Came back for two games and is already hurt.

Ingram looked better and better each game. Dude played in 8 games and isn't even used as a primary back. His time is coming soon and its really nice having 4 quality running backs on the team in case injuries occur
