Raiders screwed up by benching him like they did. The cost of Carr at its highest will be a 3rd rounder and probably another late round pick. The entire league knows the Raiders don't want him and his gurateed money kicks in soon.

They benched him because if he gets hurt they owe him a lot of money. More than if they just cut him

Dennis Allen and Mickey Loomis are going to set this franchise back years by acquiring a mid-level QB when they already have the same player in Dalton.

I’ve said a few times on here he’s pretty much a younger version of Dalton lol. Maybe a tad better.

I don't see how people don't get this.

Raiders suck btw, but this was and still is a money/control situation. It'll be interesting to me if Carr actually gets traded. I'm on the he'll be cut side.

I know that, I'm talking in terms of trades. Raiders made the right decision financially. I'm talking the trade value of a player.

he's not one of the top qbs in the league, but he is in that 10 - 15 range since he's been in the league. has had a couple years of elite play. not sure who we're gonna draft this year or next that's better. we won't be bad enough to get maye or williams. this isn't madden. it all depends on the price tag. he isn't worth franchise qb money.

'16, '19 and '20 are elite years.

his rookie year in '14 and this past season are his only subpar years. he's had 5 or 6 different coordinators in a 9 year career. he's been a good to really good qb 7 out of 9 years. i think he leads the nfl in 4th quarter comebacks over the span of his career.

hopefully it's not a trade and we can sign him after he's cut in 10 days. not sure i'd trade anything higher than a 4th. can always resign dalton.

Carr is not being traded anywhere unless he agrees to it, and if he came to the Saints his contract would have to be restructured. So if he wants the Saints, there's no reason to trade him. Just let him get cut and sign a new deal that works with our cap. If he doesn't want this Saints, all this talk is a waste.

We’d be getting by far the best QB we have had since Drew Brees and that would make you “melt your arse off”? It’s one thing if they overpay for him, but for the right price, he’s a great option at this stage.

This aged well
