What would have been the financial +/- had Carr sat 2025 on PUP list?

I don’t think Carr is a shitty person, definitely strange though

I don’t think he’s a bad person, per se, but I never cared for his body language and leadership style with the Saints.

And while he “passes up” $30 million by retiring, he’s getting to keep $10 million for being on the roster even though he won’t be.

Can’t remember who it was, but he was a guest on radio. Said he couldn’t believe the disrespect JD gets in BR. Said he’s a heisman candidate by the national media everywhere across the country except in Baton Rouge.

After last night, I’d say we know a lot more about football than the national media. Bet he feels like a dumass after watching that game and making that comment.

Definitely not even close to a top 5 least favorite saint.

Not his fault our dumbass front office decided to hand him a massive payday when the team was way more than a QB away from competing.

I definitely hated the signing at the time and we got jackall out of him on the field, really, but there have been far worse saints.

There have been plenty of guys given bags in free agency only to suck here such as Tebucky Jones, Jason David, Brandon Browner, Jarius Byrd,

Erxleben has to be up there for most hated

And Carr wasn't lazy...I will usually rank fat, lazy players in my least favorite tier so guys like Jonathan Sullivan, Sedrick Ellis, Wayne Knight,

plus people who committed actual crimes against their own teammates such as Andre Royal and Albert Connell.

Also Darren Sharper for his post-Saints extracurriculars.

But then you have guys who just hated on the organization and fans after they left such as Eli Apple and Junior Galette.

What are his chances for the HOF? He has a good career completion percentage.

Derek Carr had a 0-1 record in the playoffs in his career.

After the FSU game he looked exactly like he did last year. Scared to throw the ball downfield or scared to throw in general unless the receiver was wide open. It was a valid criticism. He learned to trust his receivers and evolved. By the end of the year I said I’d take him over Caleb.

Why don’t you bump the threads that I said Allen was a bad hire and Harbaugh should have been the guy. Or we should be going after Justin Jefferson that draft when everyone on here wanted to draft Patrick Queen. Or when I said Achane was the third best back in the draft or how retarded Micky was for passing on Brian Branch. Or how stupid the trade up for Olave was. I could go on and on.

What? If you get a slice of the playing time DJ got, as a second round pick (Slough), that's a win bro.

No that is not a win.

We went the Daniel Jones route and hopefully it works for us.

Jones was the 6th overall pick in the 2019 draft.

I actually liked Carr as a QB. Was never a superstar, but serviceable. As a football fan, hate that his career has to end like this. As a Saints fan, glad he retired, thus saving us from having to pay him while he rehabs endlessly.
