LINK

Idk if I really like this or not. Seems like a pretty big leap. Any special teams coach ever made a successful transition to head coach at any level before ?

Edit: lol looks like someone’s already looked into it and has the case for YES prepared LINK

I love rizzi as the special teams coach.

One of the best in the business.
Keep him where he's at.

If they aren't going to hire an offensive coach then I would prefer they hire Dennis Allen and keep all the coaches.

Wasn’t Jeff Fisher a ST coach as well?

There’s a plus to hiring ST guys. They work a little bit with the entire roster.

ST coaches can make for good head coaches, yes. They deal w both offensive and defensive players, so they have great relationships with players and coaches on both sides already if promoted

You can’t spell “eight and eight” without thinking about Jeff Fisher.

Thanks.

His name has been thrown in the HC thought process for a few years. Miami was looking at him as well.

Try 7-9. You are giving him way too much credit.
