He looked good at first. Then started dropping passes left & right. He's pretty athletic & has nice height/arm length...just needs to hold onto the ball. He can't block either, so that's working against him.

#3 TE should be a pretty good battle. Arnold, Alize Mack, Garrett Griffin, & Jake Powell.

Is Hill for sure going to be back? Wasn't his concussion pretty serious, and he already had some concussion issues?

I haven't heard anything about Hill not playing this year.

If the Saints had any doubt about his return we would have picked up a TE that blocks really well.

Arnold, Alize Mack, Garrett Griffin, & Jake Powell.

These guys not so much

Good athletes that can’t catch or block are a dime a dozen. Not saying he can’t get better but not a whole lot to like about his game currently.

We signed Hill to a 3 year extension in December 2018. He’s become crucial as help on the outside, especially once Armstead gets hurt.

Yeah I agree. He is great at being that #2 TE with a #1 TE being a receiving threat. Just genuinely curious of his health.

the only surprise would be if he makes the roster... barring significant injury to Cook or Hill, i don't see us keeping him.... unless he's put on about 20 lbs. of muscle, and learned how to be better in the run game, he won't make the roster this year...

Yes, if he actually makes the roster, that would "surprise" me.

That's a pretty serious goalpost move there dude.

"Makes the team" is a much lower bar than what you suggested in the OP

I hope you're right, but we brought in a veteran TE and drafted another. Seems the front office doesn't think so

Doubling down. He will have more yards and tds than a TE besides Cook.
