Both are free agents after this season so I'd assume they will not get a good draft pick for them. Should we?

Not a fricking lick more than a 5th rd pick. *You told us the value mickey last year*

I would take a flyer on either. Sweat would be my take consider young has had injuries as of late and hasnt been on field alot. Sweat would be a great heir to cam jordan. Hell if numbers are right Id put a package for both and maybe send Kamara their way and a pick. They have no RBs

An oft-injured pass rusher sounds like something right up the Saints' alley.

I’d take Sweat in a heart beat. Still only 26. Had an elite grade from PFF. Played 16 games 3 out of 4 years. He’s had 7, 8 and 9 sack seasons as well. Would give us a great pairing with Cam before he eventually retires.

Would give up 40 for sweat. He’s badass.

I’d take Sweat. Not so much for Young.

Not sure why people are so down on Chase Young. He had to get his ACL reconstructed, not just repaired.
It will be 2 years post surgery this fall…I’d definitely be interested in him if Washington is just looking to offload him

It’s alarming that team would not pick up a fifth year on a former 1.2 who plays a premium position

It was like 17.5 million fully guaranteed.

Don’t disagree. His knee may be toast, but don’t ignore the fact that Washington is a shite franchise also

Actually, I think this would actually be a decent investment if you can get him cheap. If either guy underperforms but shows you the potential you want, you may get an under market DE under a long term contract after '23.

They’re also a dogshit franchise who are changing owners and everyone in the front office and coaching staff are likely getting fired anyway

I’d take both for the righty price

Which is nothing if he is a guy. A franchise tag would cost $25 mil. Even if he was average and played 17 games you conks justify $17.5 mil. Marcus Davenport is getting $13 mil
And they may be a dogshit franchise but they have nailed their DL picks with Allen, Payne, and Sweat. I’m just wondering what’s really going on? Not prepared to give up draft capital on a risk, who you’d have to subsequently pay if he’s a dude (not necessarily a bad thing). Or you could just draft an end

Sweat is definitely worth one of our top 3 picks
