Convince me otherwise.

1. Talented WR, but needs a wakeup call
2. Great route runner, but isn't someone who's gonna shake and bake you like Tyreek Hill
3. Is the obvious #1, but pouts when things don't go his way

Hard to argue with that right now.

Only criticism I have is why use Tyreek as your example. No one is going to be like Tyreek

I’d argue if he’s your obvious 1 you’re never going to have a prolific passing game. He’s smooth and talented but just doesn’t seem like a guy who is going to dominate over the course of a season. Seems fairly easy to knock off his game if you get even the slightest bit physical with him.

Yeah, I’d trade him before Michael Thomas and I can’t believe I’m actually saying that.

Is he as fast as a young Cooks? Doesn’t seem to be.

Olave is nowhere as fast/talented as Cooks

I’d actually call the raiders for an Olave for Devante Adams trade.

Olave is a luxury. He is what you would want when you have a true #1 and he would thrive on the other cbs covering him in single coverage while your #1 dominates the double teams.

The problem is he needs targets. He’s the type of talent who needs to be fed all game and Carrmichael just aren’t equipped to make that happen.

Olave had 15 targets yesterday.

I don’t think the NFL lets you trade with yourself, an no one but the saints is giving up more than a low second rounder for Olave.

A fast WR that can’t play through contact with only 2.5 years left in a cost friendly contract isn’t worth much.

Cooks went for a 1st after his 3rd year to the Pats, then again to Rams for a first after his 4th year. Just saying.

That’s actually a great comparison. After game 1, I really thought Olave was about to have a huge year.

They need to see if they can dump him now. He should bring a #1 and maybe a 3rd or 4th rounder. See if you can something for Penning as well. Keep Breese and rebuild the team around him and the defense.
