Free-agent pass rusher Chase Young is expected to visit the #Panthers and #Saints this week, per source.

A handful of teams have expressed interest in Young, the 2020 defensive rookie of the year who’s still only 24 years old.

I could see Young signing in NOLA. Honestly it would be a good fit for him to rebuild his career splitting time with and aging Cam Jordan and pushing young Isaiah Foskey.

Saint can actually use players like Baun, Elliss, Onyemata as examples of players that have used their time here to increase their market value.

This is very much who we need to hedge against not getting a DE in the draft

Great let’s sign another always injured underperforming pass rusher since that’s worked out so well for us.

Forgot to add that it will also help Turner to finally play an entire season

We are no longer a desirable place to come to as in years past. We are also dirt floor poor.
We get what we can get these days. It's not hard to understand.

Young would be a bad signing. Gives half arse effort and is looking to get paid.

This is probably a deal that looks like the one Davenport just got

Source: #49ers pass-rusher Chase Young has added a #Titans visit to his schedule. @TomPelissero reported he’ll visit the #Panthers and #Saints first.

Nope, 100% draft an edger rusher early. Young, Foskey, (Verse or Turner and Jordan) are a nice problem to have. Granderson is a given.

Young if he signed here would be on a 1 year deal like they do with all players in his situation.

I would like to draft one, but we would have to trade up for an edge most likely.

Just get Jared Verse. His motor never runs cold and is a game wrecker.

As long as we don't break the bank on a longterm deal he's fine to kick the tires on. He's gonna need to have one monster season to get a big longterm deal. Although I think the Panthers would probably offer more money to spin that they got a bigtime replacement for Burns.

Certainly wouldn't want to move up and lose too much capital to get one but the draft is strange. Hard to tell how the players will rise and slip this early out. But yea I wouldn't expect Verse or Turner to be there at #14 atm. Wold be a no brainer it there were but there are some next level guys to keep an eye on at 45 maybe

Restructured Cam Jordan’s terrible deal
Granderson - great call on getting his deal done
Foskey 40th overall
Turner 28th overall

This is a sad state of affairs, Young would fit perfectly
