I mean, the Bears are literally moving down only 8 spots, and getting a haul for doing so. Not sure what else you want teams to give up??? lol.

I actually expected them to give up much worse.

So they swap 1st rounders this year. Carolina then gives up something like a 2nd this year, a 1st next year and a 2nd round pick in 25? Moore is okay, but not a big loss, he's just another WR. Very replaceable. That's not too bad if they really believe in the QB.

They're only moving up from #8 though

I can't believe the Panthers actually did that.

None of the draftable.qbs are worth a #1 overall. I love this!! Every one of them is a crap shoot

It's still the #1 overall pick. 1 to 8 still seems like a long ways down in value. You lose out on some top 5 non QB guys. I think the trade is actually right, but I still expected more overpay.

It's all good, but I definitely don't think it was too costly here.

I think dj is a pretty big loss. Entering this season, he had 3 straight 1100 yd seasons.

Seems like if giving up that much it better be for something proven. Maybe they could have traded away the picks for Lamar and then Moore separately for other picks?

It’s a huge loss. He’s a great WR on a fantastic contract.

The fact we don't know who they're gonna take sorta states this isn't without risk. There isn't a consensus, can't miss #1

Right. I would happily give that up for a #1 overall pick if there was a Joe Burrow coming out. It's very spaced out over 3 years too. And replacing a WR the caliber of Moore is not a big deal. The concern is there isn't a QB considered to be as sure of a thing as say Luck/Burrow, etc.

The good news is they have no wr now and no picks going forward.
They will have to go to Free agency to build. With a new coach and an an quick trigger owner.
This has all the makings of awesomeness for the Panthers.....

If they hit on #1, they'll do well next season. If they miss on #1, they may suck for 5 years

Watch the tape or check stats, he's an excellent WR despite having some of the worst QBs in the league throwing to him.

No one obviously if a team doesn’t have good WR on the roster the second they draft at QB then they will never ever be able to acquire one, ever

They’ve got some picks they got for McAffery. If they have a guy they love—and they must—this isn’t a bad deal at all for them. And as far as Moore goes, he’s gonna cost WAY more than he does now by the time they’re ready to compete.

Wow where did all their picks go? Didn’t realize they only had 2 picks this year. 1 in 2024 and 1 in 2025
