Well we had the best QB in the division for about a week.

The last time a team traded up to #1 for a quarterback, the Rams got Jared Goff. Let that sink in. If there's a true no-brainer star quarterback in the draft (a Burrow, Lawrence, or Luck) the pick doesn't get traded.

No QB in this year's draft is worth giving up all that. They are wagering a lot of future draft and current player capital on one player. That is definition of putting all your eggs in one basket.

I mean they gave up two 1’s, two 2’s, and a very good receiver. I’d say that’s a hell of a haul.

I think the Bears could have gotten more than one additional 1st. They must value the hell out of Moore.

I think dj is a pretty big loss. Entering this season, he had 3 straight 1100 yd seasons.

Which equates to a good WR, not elite. A good WR can be replaced. Getting a shot at a potential franchise QB does not come around often.

Glad we got our guy in Carr.

yeah thank God we beat out the rest of the league for a middle of the pack qb that just got kicked out the door by the Raiders. Carr is not a good qb.

Just admit you know nothing about football.

The Bears desperately need weapons on the outside. Besides Mooney, idk if any other Bears WR is worth a damn. Claypool didn’t provide any value after their trade for him

Over the last 5 seasons D.J. Moore has averaged 72 rec. for 1140 yds.
Chris Olave had 72 rec. for 1140 yds. this past season. Do you consider Olave very replaceable?

He did that with some of the absolute worst qb play in the league. All of Moore’s Sparq numbers are really high and he’s been productive with dogshit playing qb. He’s very very good.
