I’d take their 26th pick their 4th round pick and next years 2nd rounder for Payton.

I think CSP has seen this movie already. Russ is past his prime and past rehabilitation. The organization gave up too much for him in the trade. Payton can make the money (or close to it) elsewhere with a much better chance of winning.

If the Chargers do their usual belly flop, look for him to go there.

If you really think a DC would stop Sean from taking a job he liked then I’ve got some oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you CHEAP!

It's posts like this that show proof just how far this board has fallen off.

This. Everyone is looking at Russ this season like his play is an anomaly but the truth is, it's been a slow decline in his play over past few seasons. Russ has had talent around him at receiver in both Seattle & this year with the Broncos so that's not an excuse that can be used either.

Doesnt matter loomis is gonna let him go for a scrub player.

I'm always curious about these types of posts. Based on what?

And before anyone points to Gardner, CSP is not a disgruntled coach causing lockerroom problems.

What else yall got.

No way in hell Payton will go to Denver. Wilson is done with a big contract and no draft picks.

Wish we could get it stickied that the Broncos do indeed have a 1st round pick.

I could definitely see a 1st and 3rd this year and a 2nd next year getting it done. Loomis could do a little better, who knows.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think we are all going to be disappointed with the Saints' return for trading Payton.

Russ Wilson and Andy Dalton are 13 months difference. To think that can be what gets Payton to Denver makes me want to drop kick him in his fatass face.

Does not matter what year really just as long as the value is there.

Well that all but ends any chance Sean comes back

There was never a chance Sean was coming back, he had a job and wants to coach but the shitehole city of NOLA is the problem. Hence the retirement and force a trade. Fangio lived in NOLA and no way he wants to come back either.

Just accept the crumbs offered and see what we can do with the rebuild, but we can’t expect nice things anymore as we aren’t a desirable location.

By saying he prefers strong link to GM, is that suggesting he wants a strong relationship or does he think Jerry will let him make decisions? And, how can he “listen” without Loomis first giving him permission or those teams tampering?
