tom benson is a billionaire with a diverse and complicated business and legal umbrella, like all billionaires. that umbrella shields him and his businesses from all manner of bad weather, including crazy/greedy/gold-digging family members

You sound like the Renee/Rita/Ryan side of the family is destitute and has no money. I can assure the trailer park trash crew have the financial wherewith-all to contest and have already secured top shelf legal talent to contest BUT will do so only after Benson passes away. The problem that Tom Benson has is that he might have waited a little too long to do this move. Firing them from the Saints/Hornets was doable but removing them from the ownership is more complicated.
Gayle is the stability the entire organization needs both internally and externally. She is one of the classiest and most genuine people you will ever meet.

Mr Lsu got this situation locked down. The only thing I would add that will make this interesting in a legal context is that plans for his succession have changed multiple times over the last 5-7 years and Gayle has "gained" at the expense of the San Antonio crew each time. May bolster their case that gayle has taken advantage of the situation.

Oh I can assure that there have been no less than 15 doctors on each side working this cash cow. This will be a battle of the medical experts, videos of Benson, and private investigator video & audio footage of the trailer park trash crew's daily activities.
There will be some attorneys retiring off this case.
The trailer park trash crew will work the Anna Nicole Smith angle of their lawsuit by painting Gayle Benson as the modern day albeit older Anna Nicole.
