#Saints highly touted LT Terron Armstead suffered a high-ankle sprain in yesterday’s win over the #Panthers, sources say, and he’s out for Thursday’s game. Armstead is considered week-to-week for an injury that generally can take a month or more for recovery.

Not good.

I don’t think it will take him a month to recover from that.

I think that’s good news given how serious it looked when he was being helped off.

He is elite but he seems to ALWAYS have some sort of injury every year..this team needs him back asap.

a high ankle sprain... yeah... it's not an "if"... he'll be out for SF

the left side of our line will be back-ups (Easton & Omameh)

I guess silver lining... Peat & Armstead should be healthy from a wear & tear standpoint when they both get back from these injuries heading into the playoffs

Whoever our best blocking TE is needs to be seeing 100% of offensive snaps that day.

It’s not that serious. High ankle sprains aren’t the kiss of death for offensive linemen like they are for skill players

He’s missed an average of 5 games a year the last 5 years. He’s had a number of other games he started but left with injury. It sucks but he’s just one of those players.

If we are prepared to lose anyone to injury, it’s him. Because he’s hurt every year for extended periods

The only worry would be on passing downs and you would not use a tight end to block an end you would use a back to chip.

probably gonna see more 3 TE sets now.

like we did yesterday.

I do think it was part game plan for Carolina since they've had trouble stopping the run but why not keep the 3 TE sets now with two starters down on O-line.

Easton has looked good so far but this is really where we'll miss Peat I think cause he'd be taking Armstead's spot now if he weren't hurt.

Peat isn't all that durable either.

Does Ram move to LT at this point or do they just leave him at RT and wing it with a backup at LT?

Ram won't move. He's all-pro at his position. Can't afford to destabilize things even more.
