I just read that Allen sees the team as explosive on offense.

Umh. What crack is this dude smoking? Implosive maybe. But going 0-5 in the red zone and having to kick 5FG’s is the complete opposite of explosive.

Did this dude go to the political school of twisting reality to fit your needs?

Trying to save face, I really don’t think it’s qb or personnel issue it’s him and Carmichael

I agree. I actually think the team has talent. If Payton were here he would have Carr playing much better.

I agree but he's fixable with the right staff.

Russell Wilson sucked terribly last season with his pathetic coaching staff

Maybe the word explosive means the ability to get the ball to the 10-yard line. And if they could ever get some TDs, he'd use high powered

I agree that the offense as a whole, not just Carr, would be more productive with Payton.
By the explosiveness of this offense is thin. Olave and Shaheed. Who else? Kamara is still productive but probably not as explosive as he used to be.

yeah, he's telling the truth because as poster RazzleDazzle just said that Allen said all of this in his press conference with the media. I thought he was on something myself, high on drugs because how can you say your offense is explosive. Not with Carr at QB, no damn way! He also said that his defense is good and that they're leading the league in turnovers or some shite like that. I mean he really on some shite because that defense has looked atrocious the last 2 weeks against very average QBs in Dobbs and Ridder. They can't stop the run, teams be gashing them for run after run. They hardly get any pressure on QBs, and when they do, these average QBs take off and run on them for huge gains of yardage. I mean this defense looks old with Demario and Cam not really being the players that they used to be and all, but Allen thinks they're fine and that nothing is wrong. Allen is a joke!

You're not "fixing" Carr at this point in his career. He could do slightly better with better coaching but it'll still be very mediocre

Yeah you're probably right, you can't fix carr because he doesn't have the intelligence necessary to be elite at reading defense but you can dumb it down for him and allow him to be serviceable until you can unload his arse. This requires better coaching however.

Carr isn't a disaster in the right circumstance. The right circumstance being, taking that C off of his jersey, and making him understand his role of game manager better. Put the C on Taysom's jersey.

Gruden was really on track to get the best our of Carr. They had established a strong offensive line. commitment to the run, and did not rely on Carr to spread things out. He kept him under center. Gruden put on a clinic against the Saints in that Monday night meeting in 2020

They can’t even figure out how to get the most explosive player (Shaheed) the ball more than 3 or 4 times per game.
