Somewhere around 5-7, 6-6 still alive for a wild card but not likely to happen.

The way we looked weeks 1&2?

We would be lucky to win 2 games!

Crazy how quickly things changed when Harris was benched!

I figured we'd be coming upon another losing season, talking about who replaces Drew, possibly firing Payton, etc. Glad that we're back.

I thought we were a .500 team before the season started. Looked at the schedule after 0-2 and was thinking 4 or 5 win season. Boy I'm glad DA and the defense started clicking, and Sean Payton being patient with the run game. Historically we are more successful when we can get even production out of the run and pass, and it helps to have solid defense and not play from behind.

I had us going 10-6 or 11-5 before the season started. Teams floor is 7-9, and I always laugh at anyone predicting less. SAINTS ARE GOING 5-11 AT BEST. No, they aren't. Even when they appear to be shitty, they'll find a way to win 7 at least. So after the 0-2 start I thought they were headed toward that again, maybe 8-8.

this

everyone wanted to bash their head in because Harris kept getting killed, but we saw spurts of the good defense in both of the first 2 games when he was subbed out.

It was a process and its been a nice surprise. As a team, we're top 15 in Defense (YPG and PPG) and top 3 in Offense (YPG and PPG).

Drunk on the floor of my man cave in the fetal position yelling dilly dilly. Just kidding. I was hopeful that we would be 6-6.

Looking back, it was happening around the same time LSU was losing to the likes of Miss St and Troy St. I all but wrote off Louisiana football lol.

This.
I went into work at 5 that Sunday morning of the panthers game and was cursing up a storm. I said "LSU frickING SUCKS. SAINTS frickING SUCK. SAINTS ARE ABOUT TO GET THEIR DICKS SERVED ON A SILVER PLATTER BY CAM. WE DON'T HAVE LATTIMORE. frick ED ORGERON. frick SEAN PAYTON. frick EVERYONE."
LSU ended up only losing 1 game after that and so far the Saints have only lost one game since then.

I thought we could salvage the season, maybe make it to 9-7 or 10-6 and squeak in to the playoffs as a best case scenario. I thought most likely another 7-9 season.

The Saints are literally one loss off of their objective best-case scenario after week 2. That's a real accomplishment.

So right when the boycotts started the Saints turned around.
Shed the negative fans.
