Was this money well-spent?
And some of y’all dummies were excited when the Saints announced they were re-signing him

Kamara's contract situation was extremely complex. It wasn't a very simple cut him and save money situation. It got negotiated where both sides won a bit. Kamara has had one of the most overrated careers ever. HOF talk with him is laughable to me.

We were spending money on Kamara one way or another. The pain is in future years rather than taking the hit now.
In hindsight, we should have been taking every hit we possible could have been.

We are averaging 81 rush yards per game.
I was vocal about letting Kamara walk/retire/trade, but his numbers aren't really his fault.
Etienne was the highest or 2nd highest rated FA RB
Miller is former 2nd rounder.
None of our RBs are having success, but it's largely due to zero running room due to poorly designed and ill-timed play-calling

he took a paycut and we still get something of value out of him while etienne is laid up. this is why you aren't the gm

Veteran's year of rest.

And some of us pointed out that he was washed up two years ago.

Kamara is awful. Hes produced nothing for years. He barely tries anymore

Something about age, huh? It kinda takes some pep from your step just as it has done to Kamara and Cam Jordan. Loyalty to a player is a fine thing but not when it's plain to see they can't perform like they used to and their presence on the team is just hurting the team. The position they hold can be taken by a younger, more explosive player that will help the team to win.

I don't know that I'd say one of the most overrated careers - peak Kamara was damned near unstoppable.
The problem is that peak Kamara relied on that explosive first step, acceleration from there, and ability to more or less avoid contact in ways we don't usually see. Unfortunately, and quickly for most RBs (as it did him), you lose those first two things pretty quickly.
The difference between him and a guy like Henry isn't the workload, it's the difference in what made one versus the other.
Again, peak Kamara was unbelievable, but 10 years in the league and the body was going to wear down on his explosiveness - let alone the injuries.

Correct, watch him run his routes.

He is just out there collecting a paycheck

Moore is an idiot and hasn’t played him. I’ll bet he plays more going forward and we play better. If you say he’s overrated,!you really aren’t that smart. Or you’re a child. He’s been a great back for us. In the day and age of football, you can find an adequate running back in the late rounds or even UFA. It would be hard to find one as good as Kamara has been for as long as he’s been. Yes he’s on the downside of his career but he’s still better than every RB on this team except for Etienne. And that’s only because Etienne is much younger.
