I don’t get it. Don’t fix what isn’t broken.

Do y’all seriously think you know more than Sean? That he wouldn’t start Winston if Winston was the better QB? Be happy with the win, hope we get Drew back soon as possible, and trust the guy who managed to take a historically bad football club and turn them into contenders every year

He did exactly what he needed to. But if he plays like that against a team with an active QB it aint good

Nah. He turned it over when I'm sure the #1 objective was not turn it over, and the two plays before the TO could've been TOs. It was a limited safe gameplan and he looked bad doing it.

Falcons are garbage. Broncos played without a QB. Another game against garbage Falcons followed by the pitiful Eagles will give all kinds of false bravado.

Mahommes and Hill are coming though... and the shite we’ve seen so far won’t be enough.

He almost had 4 turnovers in this game. In addition to the two he had, he had a dropped INT and recovered his own fumble

Let's be real here; the Saints could have won this game win Kamara at QB. We won despite Taysom being terrible at throwing the football.

Isn’t Brees expected back by the Chiefs game?

Winning is not as important as fantasy points and 400 yards passing. Even if we lose.

I was in love with Winston at Tampa Bay. He had nearly twice as many losses as wins and was a monster on my fantasy team.

Did you watch Hill's performance?

Both will be losses if Taysom plays like he did today

If Denver had a QB I'm not so sure we don't lose. His performance had the makings of upset. Not looking forward to him playing the Falcons

My estimate is we have about a dozen guys on the roster that could’ve led a double digit win. Probably 3 coaches, And a solid handful of out of work game day staff at the dome

Are you being funny?

I said before the game I would be happy with a 1 point win.

It's still the NFL. I don't care if they had no QBs. It was a road game and the Saints won with pure ease. No reason to do much either.

Great win.

Taysom is automatically good for a fumble every single game it seems.

I would suggest every fan watch Payton’s presser after the game. Saints literally handled the falcons a week ago, and Taysom looked solid.

Taysom played this exactly how I wanted him to play this.” He said he understands it wasn’t aesthetically pleasing.

It’s a weird game to judge Taysom on, and I think there’s an element of not putting too much on film when you don’t have to. Once they figured out a practice squad WR was starting at QB, the game plan changed a little bit.
Payton was on Rich Eisen’s show this week, and Eisen asked if they are treating Taysom like a rookie because of lack of snaps / reps, and Payton said “yeah that’s fair”. I understand how people are frustrated with his play after today, but you also have to follow the signals. He is a cog in the wheel right now. Every week will be a different game plan, and he will play a role that Payton believes puts them in the best position to win.

This, especially the bolded part, is a really good way to put it.
