The Jets would have won that game by two TDs. Wasn’t a fair fight.

I knew it would be a vanilla gameplan. The problem is Taysom was bad while trying to execute it. Don't throw into double coverage if the plan is to avoid turnovers, find the open man, actually throw the well setup screen pass, STOP FUMBLING. .

It’s inexcusable for Taysom to have played like he did after a full week of practice and his first start under his belt.

He was extremely unsure of himself and missed (didn’t even attempt a throw) wide open receivers so badly that even the commentators were questioning what he was doing.

We won this game because the Broncos had no one leading their offense. Don’t get me wrong, we win this game even with Lock starting, but Taysom’s performance made me question everything about his future as QB for the Saints.

Do people not realize this is not the Super Bowl or the last game of the season? Yes the team won but if you’re looking how the team’s performance is likely to be for the remainder of the season, Hill’s performance is concerning.

Indeed. I know what Coach did to win this game but damn. I wanted to see Winston earlier to see what (if any) improvement he has made.

I don’t get it. Don’t fix what isn’t broken.

We played and beat a team with a losing record, that was starting a practice squad receiver at QB on 2 day's notice. The only reason we've won these past couple games is that we've got a good defense, and Payton had a running scheme concept in place from the Hill gimmicks. We're playing 1940's offense.

What drives me crazy about hill is it feels like he has 2 modes. Deep shot or run. There is no "take what is given" with him. He struggled to throw screen passes.

I said before the game I would be happy with a 1 point win.

You would be happy with a 1 point win playing against a practice squad WR playing QB. Uh...huh.

It's still the NFL. I don't care if they had no QBs. It was a road game and the Saints won with pure ease. No reason to do much either

Its not necessarily that this is wrong but you absolutely can not play like this versus a semi capable team. Ugly wins are a real thing.

The same people that shite on Jameis for his turnovers are making every excuse in the book for a guy who has yet to show he can take care of the damn ball himself.

Man, you saw that game....you saw what we did.

Granted, the o-line looked like LSU's vs. the Aggies pass blocking...and I know two starters were out, but they were still struggling to protect, I realize that.

But a team had a week of film to prepare for Taysom and they made him look pretty bad. Only one real drive while the game was in some doubt still and before Denver d just wore down, and that was all ground based.

That performance by Taysom was very concerning going into next week.

Why not? The 4 TDs were scored with a backup QB against a Bronco defense that had no one quarantined.

Chicago is a perfect example of what having terrible QB play can do to a good defense. I dont care if your playing the 85 bears if your offense consistently goes 3 and out with very few first downs

Against a team that didn’t have a QB, If feels like the Saints just did the smartest kid on the short bus
