2 RBs on Roster Week 1

How did this happen? One has never even played in a Saints uniform.

They are going to add a RB. Most likely calling up Williams.
CSP will never go into a game with 2 active RBs, considering the lessons he learned in 2010.

This makes no sense. It’s not like we just found out yesterday Ingram is out this week.

I wonder if LeRibeus becomes our weekly sign/cut player. I would not be surprised if he gets cut on Thur/Fri and Williams brought up from the PS. After the week, he could be re-signed and another player cut.

Being that we added LeRibeus first, I'd say Ola is more likely to be cut, though it also wouldn't surprise me if both were cut after practice is done this week to save some money and be able to bounce either on and off.

Yup. He can play any position on the line (though we wouldn't want him at LT).

Both can and have played guard and tackle (as has Bushrod).
But Bushrod has only been taking tackle snaps with us, so I'd think if Peat is out it may be LeRibeus who starts.

He did, but his was likely a move to have bodies for practice.

With Leonard and Wozniak on the practice squad, I would have thought we would be OK (as we have Tom and Clapp on the roster to play guard). I guess we will see soon.

Don’t get it. 2 RBs, one has been here 2 days & a FB on the active roster 3 days before game 1. Williams will probably be moved up, but still way too thin for a regular season game imo. Really doubt Scott will get through waivers with the great preseason he has had. Another draft pick wasted because of poor roster management. Orrrrr, is there a trade in the works?

I don't know why Scott wouldn't clear waivers if Williams did. I mean they were both pretty good for us in the preseason and Williams has been available longer and therefore would've been easier to integrate into a system at the last minute than Scott would have been. I think it'll be fine.
