Lol since when has that prevented him from trying to add talent? I’m sure you’ve seen the millions of threads and articles pertaining us almost getting Mahomes while Brees was still here.

You really think Jameis would prevent Payton from trading up in Round 2 for Mills? Come on man...

Asante Samuel Jr could be a worst case type scenario for Saints at 28 imo. Could still be a very good pick.

I’ve seen him mocked in the second round a lot but I agree. I’m surprised people keep having him slip there. I think he will be a good player

He is a little undersized and doesn’t have the length that the top guys have. Also has little experience in zone coverage. Mostly played man

Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR from USC is intriguing.

Samuel has been coached to be a corner his entire life.

I think he will go early second. He is a rare smaller corner who can still play outside.

I think he’s going to go off the board in the 1st half of the round

But yes, on board if he drops

heard a snippet of Greg Cosell on the Ross Tucker podcast earlier this evening.

both spoke highly of him.

I had heard of him but not as in depth as others.

also Jim Nagy is a weekly guest on WNSP ( a Mobile radio sports channel) I know they do a Reeses Senior Bowl locker room show all season during college ball and in the weeks leading up top the game.

I don't think they've had him on lately but they've got stuff in the archives on WNSP where you can catch an old show if anyone interested.

i always thought that was the best radio show on that station but depends on what ya like I guess.

He had one of the best testing days of a DE in 30 years. Has production to back it up, too. Has some injury concerns but I think He’s going to go pretty high.

I like Phillips and Rousseau

But I bet both are gone. Browns and Colts will jump all over them

Jamin Davis LB Kentucky

Tell me more about Davis. Somehow I missed him altogether this year. I see he’s kind of a one year wonder, but he was productive and his pro day numbers look really good.

What an odd year for the draft. If we didn’t have so many holes to fill, you’d almost want to trade your picks this year for future picks when college football can truly be played and the combine takes place. Seems like this year is more of a gamble than usual.

Davis just didn’t get much pub on a 5-6 team. Stud athlete, productive, off ball LB

Kelvin Joseph is one to watch off that defense too. Will prob go in the top 60 picks if his off field checks out.

Read this morning some teams prefer Davis over Parsons. His 40 times were eye popping.
