Kenneth Murray as well. We spend way too much time analyzing how they have drafted but don't take into account the guys they ALMOST took. Almost took Rueben Foster instead of Ram.

I think people forget that. Ireland, Payton and Loomis like good football players, regardless of position. IT's clear they want a LB. Tried to take one multiple times since 2017 and traded for Kiko and Kwon. I'm not saying they will take one, but it's more plausible this year than any other.

pretty deep linebacker draft in the first two rounds

Eh...is it?

Parsons
Collins
Owusu-Koramoah
Jamin Davis

(Have all been labeled first rounders)

Nick Bolton is probably the next best bet but he's not great in coverage. Not bad either.

After that it's a steep fall off. Cox and Chazz Surratt are in that next tier but they're not 3-down guys yet most likely.

We don’t play a WIL linebacker much. We typically only play two linebackers so Demario is usually more of a SAM. Our WIL is replaced by CGJ as the nickel.

False. CGJ lines up to the strong side of the formation (i.e. wherever the slot or TE is). It's been noted several times by coaches and media that Davis is a WILL. When Kwon came, they fluctuated. Early downs Davis played Mike and then played Will on later downs. Kwon the opposite.

Which is why I would prefer Owusu-Koramoah because I think he would allow that scheme versatility that I don't know if Collins or Jamin Davis would allow.

You right to an extent but it isn’t a typical WIL. You still only have two linebackers and they both need to be able to take on blocks. No reason why Jamin couldn’t play both roles. He ran in the 4.4s. Collins could be limited

Isn't that a big knock on Jamin Davis?

That is pretty deep to have 5 guys with first round consideration. I would look for a couple of those guys to fall to round 2. Cox, Surratt, Dylan Moses, And one of the Ohio state linebackers all have round 2 potential. There is number of guys likely to go on day 2. Maybe should expanded my statement to the first 3 rounds but I still stand by my statement.

I really like this draft. Seems a little late to add a CB, but that's really my only complaint. If you hit on the CB drafted in the 4th...it's probably a great draft.

Well you thought Kiko Alonso was coming back too after 3 ACL. Didn’t play a down last year. Like I told ya last time these guys are fine if they’re cheap and depth. You can’t count on em for anything when they stay hurt

And you wanted to trade armstead 2 years ago. Just like i told you don't trade atop 3 left tackle.

Wanna bet that kwon is back before half the year is over?

You keep saying he will be out all year

I thought you knew football. Once kwon came in demario moved back to will, which is his natural position.

When he balled out he was a will

I said we’d look to trade or restructure Armstead. Of course, he’s restructured the last two offseasons. Way to prove the point bubba

Half the season is 500 snaps worth of ball. I’d hate to bet against a guy I like but the guy ain’t playing but I’d love to get you on that one

You a little late to this party. This has already been stated and I acknowledged it. However you are still only playing two true linebackers most of the time. Still feel like you need a guy who has a little size on him that can shed blocks. It also doesn’t help that our dline is likely going to take a hit this year

No. You said you wanted to trade him cause he was hurt and his contract.

What does restructuring his contract have to do with anything "bubba"? None of it was new money

I think kwon will be back way before half the year is over. I just said half a year for the bet

Idk if you are just a liar at this point or have trouble reading

12/2/19

3/18/20 - Armstead restructures

3/16/21 - Armstead restructures again

Tell me how many snaps you think he plays this year
