Its not frustration or anything like that from the season ticket base possibly?

That’s an interesting list.
We know everyone and every injury is different.. but that’s a pretty wide spectrum and to be ‘evaluated’ after 25 days puts him 5th on the list out of 64…and WAAAAAY above average for time out over the last 13 years!
The list doesn't appear to be correct.

The point is that it’s not normal for a team’s fans to have no clue when it’s 2 best players are coming back after they get hurt. With Ingram it’s been a mystery for months when he’s coming back. And now with Zion the number they threw out from the jump was a specific 3 week timeline. Now they’re saying in 2 weeks we’ll see. Still no solid timeline. In 2 weeks they can now say everything is still progressing and we’ll reevaluate in 2 weeks. Just some solid timelines like most teams provide with injuries would be nice

You’re right, Michael Thomas played more and accomplished more than zion ever has

Zion is nothing more than a circus at this point. Better come see him while he’s healthy cuz that’s probably the last chance you’ll get before he gets hurt.

Lol, I would definitely watch throwing the stupid word around.

If you look at the mentioned Delon Wright injury, it was stated that he had a grade two strain, expected to miss two months and would be reevaluated in three weeks. THAT is being honest and open with your reporting. That is why the fan base takes issue.

Yes it does, I just believe it was done before Delons return. I did not create it of course.

Though I will say the earliest injury listed was 2016. So who the hell knows, was interesting nonetheless.

No, it's not correct.

KD missed 2 months with a left hamstring strain from February to April 2021, where is that one?

It's a bad list, that's it. Not sure why, but it's missing dude who missed a lot of time and making it look like this Zion injury is totally out of the norm, which it is not.

This is exactly what we should want the team to do, and they did it. And Zion is progressing, I don't see the issue.

The issue is all they told us is “he has a leg and will be re-evaluated in 3 weeks”. Since that’s the only timeline given some we’re hoping it’d be 3 weeks and done.

I’m just glad to hear the next check is in 2 weeks. That does seem like progress.

So minimum another month, most likely longer. Kind of what I expected but man I was hoping for once I'd be surprised with quicker than expected return. Not sure that's ever happened though.

At this rate, Zion will return for the 9-10 play in game and be able to play 3-4, 4-5 minute “bursts” in that game.

And in mid-March, the mystery will continue with just 2 more weeks.
Beyond a pathetic joke ...

According to this board we should kneel at the altar of zion and thank him for deeming us worthy to grant us with his presence for 29 games this year. News flash its always going to be something with this guy. Im over it. I would honestly rather julius randle than zion. That guy at least plays basketball games.

The issue is there was zero reason to announce to the fans that he would be reevaluated in three weeks if he was never going to be back around that timespan.

It leads to (led to judging by this thread) false hope that if all things go right throughout those three weeks he would be back shortly there after.

Which circles back to my initial point, that report three weeks ago that he would be evaluated should have just simply been “Zion will be evaluated in 5 weeks time” and leave it at that.

Imagine if they had said 5 weeks from the get go and then came out today and reported that the hammy is progressing well. Probably would have been good news and a sigh of relief from the fan base rather than the many different sarcastic and frustrated comments this thread is littered with.
