Whatever dude, he’s not 240 lbs and looking like Giannis. Stop being a homer, he obviously has no chance to ever succeed!

People expecting Zion to look like he did at Duke are forever going to he disappointed. Duke Zion was 3+ years ago people body change as they get older. That would be like expecting Lakers Shaq to come into the season looking like Orlando Shaq. For Zion he needs to trim down to around what he looked like when he was a all star and work on his conditioning.

I'm being a homer cause I want him to be at his best and succeed?

Giannis is the perfect example. That is the shape I expect Zion to obtain. It will take a couple of years, but that is the standard. He should be that lean and cut.

I would take sub 260 next season. If he can get that much lower and improve his endurance, while becoming more flexible, I can love with that. More than obtainable.

You can't be serious. If that your expectations 99.9% of the NBA are out of shape and lazy.

I’ve accepted Zion will never look like Duke Zion, but if we could just get this Zion I would be more than satisfied.

LeBron would be more realistic, but that still seems like a lot to ask. Zion's probably always going to be thick. His rookie year they said they had to keep him from lifting because he gained muscle too quickly. How do you think he's going to slim down, including loosing muscle mass, if it's so easy for him to bulk up?

That was years later for Shaq.

Zion didn't even look like Duke Zion a couple months after he left.

I know we all have to just hope for the best and deal with the hand we're dealt, but the fact the we're on constant pins and needles over how overweight Zion is, is a joke.

Unless we find out out he has some medical condition, there's absolutely no reason for him to balloon up every time he leaves the staff's sight. Its ridiculous.

Constant excuses aren't going to make things better. Somebody has to hold him accountable.

He got fat in just a couple months between Duke and summer league. Got injured and got fat between the preseason and his first regular season game. Year 2 shut down for covid and he got humongous before the bubble. Predictably he got hurt going into year 3 and got gigantic again. Literally spent months at nike and came back slightly smaller but still overweight.

Whats going on with this guy is unprecedented. He's 21 years old and swells up like a cartoon character the moment he leaves his teams' sight. Someone has to get to him. He's letting the franchise, his teammates, and himself down by not being able to control his eating.

They have completely different body types.

Giannis was a stick figure

Zion is a tank.

He looks good on his Instagram feed picks. He’s wearing Zion 2s so you know they’re recent.
