Agreed. He’s the type player Griffin should be targeting. Similar to like Towns in the offseason. Good but overpaid players who like BI, have worn out their welcome on their respective teams but are similar in skill level.

Off topic but the Nets sure did arse rape the Suns in that trade.

After the Bridges trade and if they get two firsts for him, that’ll be 11 total.

That’s a bigger haul than the Herschel Walker trade.

Scorched Earth…I don’t see Miami breaking first for a bad return.

If I am the Suns, i seriously start looking at Cam Johnson instead of Jimmy Butler.

The suns could trade Nurkic and Beal to the Nets for Ben Simmons and Cam Johnson with Simmons expiring.

Obviously Beal needs to waive his no trade clause though, but Nets can get the 2 or even 3 first round picks the Suns have and Suns have a dangerous lineup with a lot of size.

Booker
Dunn
Durant
Johnson
Richards

with Simmons off the bench as a 1-5 option alongside Tyus Jones and Grayson Allen. You could even have Simmons in the finishing lineup instead of Dunn or Richards.

I don’t think Miami is necessarily the holdup.

The problem is likely where Beal lands, which is a mix of a team willing to take him and Beal willing to report.

Im not entire sure why Beal cares about going to Chicago if hes still making that crazy amount of money for doing relatively nothing .

This just seems like one big Petty off.

Yeah, Phoenix is definitely kicking themselves for making that Beal trade right about now.

I have a feeling this will end with Miami just taking on Beal and those 3 1sts

Anyone with half a brain could see that trade was going to be a disaster. And I thought their front office guy was smart.
That trade was some Griff level shite.

Beal is apparently pissed that management decided to shop him before telling him about it. Which is unbelievably stupid by them considering he has a no trade clause and could shite can any deal out of pique.

Lavine would be fun, but can't see it with the huge salary. Same idea, but cheaper player.... Jordan Poole. He's actually playing really well now, not a joke player anymore. Lights-out shooter and can create off the dribble.

CJ to Pistons for Hardaway Jr. expiring and Fontecchio.
Ingram to 3rd team (Bulls)-- 3rd team pieces to Wizards.
Poole, Hardaway Jr. expiring, Fontecchio to Pels.

Upgrade the CJ role with a younger, better (and fun-ner) player while clearing out some cap space.
