Like most, I think 7-10 seems a little high for Tari. In defense of picking him though, you’re getting a really high character kid who will fit in really well in the locker room. Which with how great our locker room is, I think that is a nice factor in his favor.

Good defender. His 3pt shooting got better as the season went.

I like him better at 10 than 7

If we had to reach for a power forward tweener, I’d much rather Leonard Miller with his upside.

Is he draft eligible?

It thought he was a 23 draft guy

Draft note: Per sources, as of tonight the NBA has officially ruled Canadian HS prospect Leonard Miller eligible for the 2022 draft. Miller was not initially on the early entry list due to paperwork issues, leading to some minor confusion amongst teams, but he's good to go.

I watched most of his games last year, I never thought to myself "Man he should go number 8 this year"

It was more like "He can start at LSU next year if he cleans up his game."

I know NBA is all about potential, and I like Tari, but he plays out of control. He would be dumb to go back to school for another year with being a potential top 10 pick, that is generational life changing money, but that is what I think he needed.

Another FYI, I posted here last time I did 1 sim on 4/29.

Haven't done one since, just did one when I read your post that said "tankathon" and wouldn't you know it, the Lakers pick was #1 again. It's really happening, isn't it!!

I wouldn't melt, but I think there will be better fits available when we pick.

just fyi, tankathon now has him going in the top 10. So one would assume there is buzz about that.
tankathons board is also over a month old. There’s going to be a few guys that jump him. You see it in more updated mocks.

He would not be my first choice.

He screams “project player” to me and we already have one of those in Jax for now.

Do I expect someone to come in and start on a playoff team at 8? No. But I would hope we get someone who is a potential sixth man for the coming season.

I think melt is a bit of a strong word. I think it's a reach, but I wouldn't absolutely despise it to the point that I would melt.

Nope.

We need shooters.

Exactly my point. I also think the odds of us drafting Eason are exceedingly low.
