I don’t see a trade happening quick, Brooklyn will shoot high for awhile.
The problem is that no one wants to wreck their team when KD m might blow everything up by the spring anyway. No one thinks "Oh, I'll trade for KD, and I'll actually get four years of KD."
He's a flake. So yeah, Brooklyn is going to have a hard time getting what they want for KD.

Pelicans odds on DraftKings went from +2500 to +2000 to get KD
Get your big money before it’s too late

Maybe we can add Kira or something to the framework of your deal and have the Nets send back Nic Claxton and fix our Center situation that way lol.

Griff has said 100 times that he wants to build a family culture of players who are team-first and 100% bought into the organization..
now he's gonna trade half of them away to get the biggest bitch in the league who will undoubtedly demand a trade when John Bel Edwards loses governor race or some bullshite

Griff talked about how he didn’t enjoy the years with LeBron running the show in Cleveland. He’s not trading for Durant.

I wouldn't mind getting Seth/claxton

ESPN is speaking this into existence with BI.

Don’t necessarily agree with the second part though Durant definitely seems pretty childish I agree not to want to blow up the roster. I really like what they have built here. They have an emerging Allstar in BI, an allstar vet in CJ, and a generational talent in Zion. In addition the Pels have a very solid supporting cast of characters that appear to be pretty deep. I kind of want to see how this plays out with maybe the addition of a complimentary piece to complete the team.

They knew this was coming and have made their entire roster available, then you go and trade next year's 1st for Royce O'Neal

Would melt beyond my wildest imagination possible.

They might think whatever they get back for KD when added to Simmons and Kyrie will keep them competitive.

What.
I didn’t even know that happened.
What in the world.

Wasn't but 3 months ago, according to much of ESPN, we were a dumpster fire organization that Zion should force his way out of and the city should be moved....Now they want to force KD to New Orleans to team up with Zion.
...I think the narrative has officially shifted lol

Brian Windhorst says the Lakers could potentially put together a package that lands Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving

I would rather see KD/BI/Zion than CJ/KD/Zion

Ngl I wouldn't mind seeing the galactic melt from the talking heads if it DID happen.

The Los Angeles Lakers would have interest in acquiring Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in a package deal, league executives have floated to ESPN's Brian Windhorst. The Lakers have had interest in acquiring Kyrie Irving this offseason. In order to acquire Durant and Irving, the Lakers would have to build a package around Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook and future draft picks. While Westbrook is on an expiring contract, he is widely viewed as a negative asset. The Nets almost certainly could receive a more competitive offer from another team, though Davis would give them a top-10 talent.
