That's all true. At the same time this is like a historically weak draft. Probably less of a difference than ever between 14 and 21. Still would rather 14 though

Win. The loser mentality needs to go away. Those picks are a crap shoot at that point anyway. Let me see my team play in the playoffs. The 14th pick over the 17th doesn't excite me.

Just cause the draft is crapshoot doesNt mean getting a higher pick doesn’t hold value.
By the way its 14th v 21st. Thats a pretty big difference. The Mavs did this essentially last year and got Lively.

We the fans want to win a title. Not just win games to play more basketball and then lose in those games.

Is this a serious question? Basketball games. I don't care if we don't win the series. I want to see the team I root for play in the playoffs. I will be there if they do. You can cheer for losing and continue loving to be a crap team but I actually want the team to compete and win basketball games.

It's still a crap shoot. I just scrolled through the past 15 drafts and the 14th and 21st pick every year are average to bad basketball players. Over the past 15 years there's been one all-star drafted at 14 or 21. I'm not expecting much from that pick. I would rather watch my team play in the playoffs and prevent them from being a laughing stock just a little bit and just hope they hit in the draft no matter what spot they pick from. But again, I don't have a loser mentality.

Just to be fair...yall are thinking about what players you can get between 14-21, when the real question is about the difference in trade value.
Because the Pels are going to trade players and a bunch of picks this offseason no matter what

That's a very good point. I just don't see the 14th pick vs the 21st pick being the reason the Hawks don't trade trae young or the cavs don't ship out Mitchell. It'll be more about the players on our roster they get in return. Proven commodities are what get big trades done

Speak for yourself. Why did you watch games at all this year then? At no point in the year did it look like we would win a title. That was never an option.
The 2018 Pels/Blazers FIRST ROUND playoff series was the best sports atmosphere I have ever been to. I have been to a lot of good sporting events, but those two games, especially game 4, topped it all. Seeing my team in the playoffs, maybe even winning a game or two, brings me more joy as a fan that seeing them lose. But that's just me. We aren't the Lakers, this isn't a title or bust franchise like your making it seem. When you say "We the fans" and then proceed to say you want the team to lose and not make the playoffs, you don't come off as much of a fan. Much less one that speaks for the fanbase.

Are they? I don't have confidence that Griff will make the necessary changes. Griff loves BI, he's probably itching to give him 200M.
I'd say there's a 70% chance Griff extends BI and we just run it back sans JV
