Not sure how trades work. I thought it was official but haven’t seen anything referring to him playing.

It’s official, but imma bet we don’t play him until after the ASB to allow him to get some practices in

He’s available the trade is official.

As Soggy said I doubt we play him until he’s practiced with the team

I mean Kyrie is a bit of a different level than JR. Even if JR was available, I’m not sure since he is coming in completely cold if he is a better option than Kira right now for mins.

Kyrie is a totally different animal.

And its usually not how this team operates.

I doubt it but it would be nice. We need all the help we can get against the cavs.

He has to spend a few days on the injured list as a rite of passage in this organization.

It's not like he is going to be asked to run the offense or take on the hardest defensive assignment. I'd like to see how he can hit corner 3's with Trey and BI on the floor.

All depends on the organization. Some have guys suited up the day after a trade some end up having guys sit out a week to get acclimated. Pretty sure we are typically on the slower end of getting guys on the court.

He says he’s fine, but we’ll re-evaluate in a couple weeks to make sure.

He’ll learn how things are done around here eventually.

Last year, the Pels traded for CJ on Feb 8th and the Pels had a game that same night against the Rockets and of course, CJ did not play as he was en route. But two nights later, on Feb 10th, CJ made his debut against the Heat.

Yesterday, on Feb 9th, JR was acquired. The Pels have a game tonight just one day later on Feb 10th. JR either arrived late last night or early this morning and has a lot of organizational orientation to consume. I'd bet the Pels will take the weekend to get him acclimated him to the team/playbook for the Monday night game at the Thunder.

Won’t see Josh Richardson tonight. He’s not supposed to arrive to New Orleans until tomorrow.

Correction: Josh will attend the game tonight but won’t play. Should be in uniform Monday, pending physical.

that would be wild. It doesn’t take guys a week to get acclimated. CJ and Larry played right away

That's would be insane. Richardson is a vet. No reason to hold him out longer than necessary. He'll learn and adapt on the floor.

Yeah I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t play after today

Makes sense

This isn’t a Pels squad desperate for an injection of talent with a season on the brink and needing a savior ala CJ/Nance

With BI back in a groove and us winning games, no need to force Richardson into the court with guys he’s never practiced with.

I’d only expect to see him on for 10 or so minutes Monday too.

Makes sense he has a lot to learn about those offensive sets Willie runs. He may need until after the Allstar break to catch up.

Larry was injured when he got here, he didn’t play for a few weeks. CJ played immediacy, but we also had alot of minutes available because we traded Josh in the deal.

Graham hasn’t been playing lately, so there’s no need to rush him in as we already have all the minutes covered with our current rotation.
