Unless this is something new, this isn't accurate. They used to have a game 1 of one series and and a game 7 of another series all the time.

At most it would give Curry an extra day, maybe 2, if that series goes 7. I'd rather GSW have to play more against the Spurs.

if I thought the spurs had any chance I’d say extend it but the warriors would roll them in game 5 and that just gives curry more time
at least the staff can go full on with game planning as the opponent is known. but so can the warriors

You want GSW playing as much basketball as possible. The playoffs are as much a war of attrition as anything. Look at how scary game 2 was for the pels with Niko and how scary 3 was for GSW with Durant. We earned our rest. Let’s hope SAS can extend this.

I don’t think a Spurs win today pushes back our series start. It just gives Warriors less time to prepare for us. I think it has to go 6 to push back the date.
