Irving should happen immediately. The current roster can not get it done!

Uh-uh. He should retire. KD and the Beard are going to make him cry, pout and seriously think about his place in the NBA.

No thanks.

He doesn't respect a veteran team, with one of the greatest players of all time that he chose to play with, enough to show up. What do you think he would do here?

I think he’s done with basketball. So it’s strong no for me.

Once upon a time, I’d have leapt at the chance to get Kyrie. But he thinks the earth is flat and he’s crazy.

Congrats to the OP on getting to 50 downvotes with 0 upvotes. That's a real accomplishment.

[Update: now up to 75 with still not one upvote]

I thought at least a few word agree with him. This is a proud moment for the Pelicans board.

I mean it’s such a bad take if you have any realistic perspective of Kyrie’s situation that it almost has to be an intentional troll.

I think Kyrie is a top 10 to top 5 player when healthy and locked in, but it seems clear since the post championship Cavs that Kyrie suffers from severe mental focus issues...If not some larger mental health issues.

And if he is going AWOL on a ready made contender and hanging out to dry one of his best friends and biggest advocates in the league counting on him, coming back from severe injury, there’s just no world where that player comes to a team like NOLA and turns all that around.
