That's trade rape. terrible deal for us

In fairness, you'd still say that if it were Willy and a 2nd since OG is Klutch

I don't think the fit is right, but the value is pretty close.

Herb and 2 1sts that are likely to convey in the 20s is not some crazy overpay. I don't like it as much due to fit, but it's not some wild price to pay for a very big upgrade to Herb Jones.

You guys are doing the same thing Raptors fans are doing, just the other way now.

The tried and true method where both fan bases would be unhappy about a trade means it's probably the right value is in play here.

Raptors want Dyson/Trey/3 1sts - Pels fans think that is crazy.

Pels fans want to give up Naji/salary and 1 1st or some shite - Raptors fans think that is crazy

What's the likely fair value? Somewhere in the middle, or...exactly what I posted.

That's fair. The Raps wouldn't do that I doubt, but again, it's more than fair to not want to go above that.

I've gone from wanting him but not an overpay to completely not wanting him at all.

Might as well just stop talking about OG. You think 25 year old two way player that still has upside is going to be given away for free.

This gets into perspective, not too dissimilar to the Kyrie trade. Sure the Lakers offered two picks, but far in the future and no players like Dinwiddie and DFS. Our trade chips are much more valuable in my opinion.

As examples and still not what I would do likely, but Herb and the 2023 Lakers pick, or Dyson and the better of the 2024 Bucks/Pelicans pick is better than Zaire and two Memphis picks or Topin and three protected Knicks picks IMO.

If I were to make a legitimate offer as the Pelicans, it would be with a pretty hard line that I wouldn’t budge from.

I am a bit skeptical. He has repeated a lot of McNamara's posts at times. This is another one that McNamara put out there previously after Irving traded. He said almost the same exact thing.

Would probably still need to be two firsts.

Herb, Top 2 protected pick this year, pels next year pick is most I’ll go. (Obviously Graham, Hayes would be added)

This draft outside of the top 2 guys is kind of lukewarm for me and our pick next year shouldn’t be high. But Toronto can rebuild quick with our top 10 pick this year and bank on our injury issues carrying over again next year.

But is OG a very big upgrade?

Herb is a year younger, better defender, better at drawing FTs, higher assist%, and reportedly is more willing to play off the ball…if his 3pt shot was still the same as last year (33.7%) then Toronto is having to send picks to the Pels.

My favorite mac-ism is that he thinks everyone here is retarded at best yet he literally cannot quit this place. He's tried a bunch and has failed every single time.

Idk why he even makes new accounts. He gets found within the first 15 or so posts every time.

I'm much higher on Anunoby than most of this board, but this is likely the type of deal he gets traded for.
Those 3 NY first rounders supposedly offered were so protected they might as well have been 1 first and multiple seconds.

If he truly wants out of Toronto, his trade value might end up being significantly less than his on court value.

No, not at all the case in reality.

Spurs are apparently looking for expiring contracts and a 2nd for josh richardson.

I would do Jax, temple and a 2nd for him.

Shite i would give them 4 2nds if we could turn DG in richardson

Anyone else worried about OG’s wrist injury? It’s his left wrist, but I’m a bit gun shy of trading for guys with pre existing injuries.
