LOL, nope!

I’m fine with Graham. I’m fine with a first (even with us giving up the swap completely) if we think OG is the part we need.

But Daniels and Trey are non-starters for a trade like this.

The one I've seen on the Raps sub that I liked is 3 of: Daniels/Murphy/LAL 2023/NOL 2023. Graham would need to be included as ballast.
It's the equivalent of our Graham+Jax+Temple trades

He'd take Herb's spot in the lineup. Assuming we're going to resign OG, we then likely can't afford to sign Herb, so it would make sense to send back Herb to them in the deal in some fashion.

BUt I wouldn't want to send Herb+3 1sts, and I don't know that they'd want Herb+2 1sts over just getting 3 1sts.

Most id give up for OG is graham, kira, herb, lakers swap(top 2 protected) and maybe one more first. Anything more and i walk and make upgrades on the margins.

Some other team may be willing to take Herb for picks.

Toronto likely wants picks rather than Herb because I’m not sure that Herb fits their timeline cost-wise (RFA contract as opposed to structured 1st rounder contract) if they are dumping everyone but Scottie Barnes.

It’s so bad that I rather have Kessler than Gobert honestly.

I don't think there's any team at this point that wouldn't prefer Kessler. Younger, less baggage and cheap for close to the same production.

What about chris boucher from the raps? If they are blowing it up they may not want to keep his money long term. He makes 12.7(this year),11.8,10.8 so similar to nance's deal. Not a great shooter but a career 33% from 3 so not terrible. Seems to be a good defender who can play the 5 in spurts. Does Temple + Jax + 2nd make sense?

I don't know. The Raps interior D is as bad as ours so no sure why we'd want someone who doesn't excel there

You can get that production by giving Hayes minutes.

Looks like Boucher has historically been solid at rim protection every season except for this one.

Man I like Vanderbilt. But not sure where he woukd fit on our team with Nance. But if he comes cheap enough, I’d do it.

I think we could find room to play both, Vanderbilt can guard 3-5.

Give him the Billy/Hayes minutes along with taking a couple from guys like Graham, and i think we could scrounge up 20-25 mpg for him

Remember that most deals don't happen until the end so nearly everything we hear for the next 5 days will be posturing. If Shams is saying the Blazers "have emerged as a strong suitor" 7 days before the deadline that means Danny Ainge is trying to make those other suitors offer more.

OG does not fix our offensive problems. He needs everything on offense setup for him

Kyrie is a loon and a FA so I wouldn't give anything up of value for him.

But he is a damn good player and would be amazing next to Zion and BI.

I don't want to do it, but we have the assets to make it happen for those three to play together for all 10 games a season they're healthy.

Facts!! I’m good on an unpredictable all star who’s going to barely play and want to leave in 12 months.
