Easier is relative.

Thunder are still going to beat us 4-0 or 4-1.

They are very good.

Not really a knock on us, they are just better, and without Zion, eh

If we can get the BI from that PHX series a couple years ago, I see no reason we can’t win at least 2.

I’m hopeful we can get one or two wins. Willie is going to play small ball and Chet is going to abuse us.

I think the OkC series could be competitive even without Zion.

Let’s tee it up and see.

I feel like if we use Jonas to father Chet we have a chance. Willy will probably play Willy ball tho. I actually think we have a chance if CJ can get hot again and everyone else plays well I see no reason we can’t beat them. OKC has a legit rebounding problem and Jonas can abuse Chet if we let him.

You got a lot of downvotes but you’re not wrong. This is a very good thunder team that might have the league mvp on their team. It was great win last night but we shot 19 3s and CJ gave us nothing- that wont cut it against the thunder.

Nurkic had 31 rebounds against OKC in 1 game this year. JV is completely comparable to Nurkic imo, a little slower but 100% in the same tier and far more skilled offensively. Chet CANNOT guard JV, I’m of the opinion JV should be getting 35-40 minutes per game in this series. Put the man on the block, put Trey and CJ on the wing and top of the key around him and let him put Chet under the goal with the nearly 100 pound advantage on him and the lower center of gravity. Only issue I could see is if OKC just lives with the mismatch knowing 3s are worth more than 2s. I’m realizing now it’s kind of sad I had to post this considering JV is clearly our best option at 5 but he played 11 minutes last time we played OKC so who knows what Willie will do

This. Dang all the narratives, let's Frick around and Find out. OKC is a good matchup for an opening series.

I think CJ is tired. A few games ago, both he and Z were hitting a lot of shots off the front of the rim. Now he can't shoot at all

Denver is the better matchup but without Zion, we've gone from a 0% chance to a 0% chance.

A huge part of OKC’s success was SGA flopping like a fish out of water all over the court and the refs giving him foul calls. That won’t happen in the playoffs.

I said a month or so ago that OKC has a 2022-23 Kings vibe, just a team overachieving and will come back down to earth in the playoffs and the following season
