They're not as bad as the current losing streak implies

And they're not as good as we thought from earlier this season

We’re losing to bad teams. Everyone was saying how deep this team was. We’re not deep.

Yep losing to the best teams with our 2 top players was one thing but losing to bad teams, well yeah!

Willie Green is a poor coach. That is the biggest issue other than health

They’re not done, just getting exposed. Pels aren’t making adjustments for some unknown reason.

Proven again and again, I can’t believe how much of a jinx I am. a month ago I was at the casino so went to the sportsbook to place a bet on the Pelicans to win the West. At the time they were in first place. Since then, we’ve gone 3-12 and lost 7 straight… I can definitively say now we’re going to finish 13th behind the Lakers.

Sorry, sons.

We're pretty close to being done. We started out at the top of the west going into 2023 and now we've fell to 6th place. 2 more losses and they're potentially looking at the play in from the outside. We are on life support.

Pels will play better as they get healthy but their slip is showing. Pels just got tooled by Daniel Gafford, Taj Gibson, and Deni Avdija. Let that sink in.

Get back to the casino immediately and place a bet for the Pels to finish last in the West. A reverse jinx is our only hope now.

This, when BI hits his groove him and CJ are good enough to pull us out this offensive funk. Last year they made a starting 5 of them with Herb,Jax,and Val be pretty effective. No excuse for them not to get to that level replacing Jax with Trey.

I think we are deep. It just we had Zion out some and CJ, Heakthy BI, and Jonas were our scorers with the others being complimentary. Buuuut because of 2 of our top 3 players have been out our next 2 best offensive players have sorely needed one more guy that can create for him self and some for others.
Jordan Clarkson for a first and the salary going out needed to take in his.
I think that immediately makes the bench look more like we saw from early in the season. We really have been missing our paint points though. Zion and Jonas were feasting in the paint. You can’t replace that. It’s just been unfortunate overall

We’re as done as the Nets are after losing KD for a couple weeks.

We’re as done as Milwaukee would be if they lost Giannis for a few weeks.

We will only go as far as Zion carries us, unless we make a trade to get more scoring

Zion has a career reliability ratio of about 25% of the games.

I think the Feburary break will do this team wonders like it did last season

obviously need to at least get our top guys healthy and by the end of that they should be

Willie did a great job last season during the break coming up with a plan and adjustments for the final stretch...I would assume the same thing will happen again

It has been stated before but the Western playoffs this year is more about matchups than seeding. Sure the Pelicans are much better at home...but a young team that doesnt know better also can play well on the road in the postseason
