Agree with the sentiment, but I’ll go one further, depending on what you thought at the beginning of the year, they might actually be better!

shite sucks but we still haven’t seen BI/Zion play almost any games together.

Health is the big if, but IF we can get most everyone healthy down the stretch, there is no reason we aren’t still a 2nd round or conference finals caliber team

Especially if Griff pulls off a solid trade to balance the roster a bit better

38 year old Lebron has played more minutes than BI and Zion combined. They should be embarrassed.

Just spitballing here but one thing that I think we had going for us is the culture was great and we finally had guys wanting to play here and loving to play together it seemed.

However, over the course of BI's injury sabbatical you started to hear rumblings that some players and staff were a bit perplexed that he was out so long.

You also have quotes from BI saying when he came back he was not planning on deferring or words to that affect.

And Billy has publicly groused about PT as well.

Is it possible that some of the tight knit culture that has been such a positive for this team in recent past has been a bit compromised and this has affected performance.

I dont think we have enough evidence but something is off. They don’t look like they’re having fun anymore. Of course a losing streak will cause that.
